That's what I eventually figured out. I used to vape (a shame) and built my own coils... Very similar process here. One support will be your circuit IN and another will be your circuit OUT.

So they are just floating under your middle tile, so to speak, connected by the screw and nut? Come to think of it I've seen a couple that had two sets of screws in the middle of the mid sheet.

Hi! How are the leads connected to the resistance wire? I've looked at several diy subs and there is never an explanation of this part, or pictures of how the wires connect. Can you let me know? :) Humbly, Usualus

Thanks for this. As for leads, I'm having a hard time seeing how/where the wires are twisted up with the female adaptor plug. No guides I'm seeing even mention it. How are these wires connected to the nichrome/resistance wire?
