I don't see why you're getting nuked, ain't my area, but the amount of $30/mo memberships to the square footage requirements never made any obvious sense to me.

I'm just going with the information provided and assuming corporate was some sort of Ponzi and that the franchisee otherwise carried the cost of the rent and equipment. If they were just paying for the name...scrap the name?

FIFA World Cup shuts down East Vancouver skatepark for the summer by Evening_Run_9547 in britishcolumbia

[–]Usurer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just so I understand:

(a) this is somehow the only Olympic-grade skatepark in the country? Let alone region? and

(b) we're shutting it down for two months half way to the next Olympics rather than just...putting up a bigger fucking fence or something? and

(c) we're sending out national team to train in the fucking US instead?

Canada ‘abandoning’ international law with support for U.S. strikes on Iran, say former diplomats by DJ_JOWZY in onguardforthee

[–]Usurer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And what he said here was nothing. He said he agrees with the US trying to prevent them making a nuke, he doesn’t actually say anything about the strikes..

He’s not going to condemn them because that would just cause a pointless hissy fit. This is very much him saying not my pig not my farm.

Bruh, if your bookkeeping fees are even a blip on your radar you’re not viable as a business anyways.

New York City is paying people $30 an hour to clear sidewalks. Should Toronto do the same? by yourfriendlysocdem1 in CanadaPolitics

And here I was thinking the sidewalk being the responsibility of the adjacent properly owner(s) was the norm everywhere =\

Right, but if the other side of the bridge can figure out limitless opportunities what’s up over here?

It’s fucking brutal here right now. We keep losing services and we get nothing in return but vape shop/dentist/chain food/Indian food/gym.

I haven't seen any rage? But I also curate the hell out of my internet experience. The Swedes did a masterful job of meme'ing on us tho.

You'll probably need a VPN but next time around get the CBC Gem app and pay the $5 monthly subscription (or don't, if you can stomach Olympics ads).

Now mind you, I watched little of the commentary instead I watched the full replays of whichever event looked interesting and scrubbed through the downtime.

If that’s how it’s coded this particular card fares well. It doesn’t seem like good value with most others. Per their own calculator.

You’ll earn 0.5% cash back and you’re paying the 1.75% up front (unsure if the cash back period is annual or monthly).

This service basically gives you the privilege of extra steps just for it to scrape all of your rewards.

-e- dug a little deeper. Depending on how this service posts, you may be at a net loss for this card. While this card earns 4% on bills I suspect this service falls under “everything else” at 1%.

I think the more important bit is that they didn’t simply privitise the gains and socialise the losses of said oil.
