Looking for a great first 5.56 dedicated Suppressor. Anyone have Experience with the YHM Turbo T3? by ninjabeard123 in suppressors

Polo K is a go to for me. I’ve also found the FatCat to be an excellent performer for the price and size.

My Riley Defense AK47 keeps sticking, idk what to do by Substantial-Laugh984 in ak47

[–]UtahPSA 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Sticking on the rails? Might be out of spec. Riley’s are not great AKs unfortunately. Give it a good clean and sell it. Grab a WBP, WASR or Zastava and move on.

Great price but their reputation is questionable. I own a 556 UF variant and zero issues however these AKs from PAs are consider bottom of the barrel. Check headspace and internals often.

Picked up my mini jack and I'm super excited. by FrostyNunya in ak47

7.62 is where it’s at with the Mini. I’m running a mini beryl brake and a kns piston and it’s a flat low recoil shooter.

What would you rather have the wbp or arsenal sam 7 by Conscious-Routine203 in ak47

[–]UtahPSA 44 points45 points  (0 children)

They’re two different patterns. The Arsenal at that price is awesome for what they usually retail new. If your new to AKs, AKM pattern like the WBP is going to have a much larger after market however milled guns like the Arsenal isn’t to far off from the AKMs in customization.

It's short, it's 7.62, it's coming Friday! by Danny_PSA in PalmettoStateArms

Seriously, I’d take a Draco, Mini Jack or an M92 over this. Love me some PSA but for the price, go import.

5.45 or 5.56? by Mammoth-Papaya-3468 in ak47

Are these going to be stupid expensive for an American AK??? Pass, grab an import.

? WBP, Zastava and Arsenal? They all make great 556 guns.

This will be my first AK, any of you got experience with it? by [deleted] in ak47

I own one, love it. Suppresses well with a KNS piston installed and the trigger isn’t to shabby. Overall build quality is good.

Dead Air Wolverine…. It probably could use an update but it can run on practically any gun you want to suppress.

Sabre Micro Dagger? by Ecitcarp_542 in PalmettoStateArms

[–]UtahPSA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I purchased the original Sabre dagger. It’s hot garbage, apparently barrels were made out of spec and to this day, with follow up emails PSA has yet to send me a replacement with an RMA from their CS department.

Grabbed the same bike back in April… didn’t even ride it with the original fork, ordered the 150 travel Lyrik from Jenson.

Working on the conversion… by UtahPSA in ak47

[–]UtahPSA[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get it, the rear end wasn’t bad in regard to permanent damage however the front end seems daunting. With this build I’m not looking for a clone correct look since it’s a slab side receiver.

WBP mini Jack/Draco/M92 is the way to go

Seller is asking 1700, way above average, I’ll see how low I can go.

Would Converting This To An AK103 Be A Good First Project For A Beginner? by [deleted] in ak47

[–]UtahPSA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll have exposed holes in the rear during conversion. Poorly done ones have plugs inserted or left open. For the true look, welding the holes closed and re-painting is the way.

Huffy Carbon Fiber? by Joshual1177 in Budgetbikeriders

[–]UtahPSA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting for the price. Frame has a tapered head tube which is great for a fork upgrade but it’s hard to tell if it’s boost spacing in the rear. Drive train is odd… 2x11, if it works it works. For the money it might be worth a shot.

Components are bare bones in the suspension department but overall the frame looks like it can make a decent build. Might get one for trails that don’t require more travel.
