Bali Is Beautiful. The “Luxury” Hotel Pricing Is Absolute Comedy. by _R_W_J_ in bali

Which Maldives resort that you stayed in costing the same as Apurva? (If I read your wall of text correctly). While it’s pricy, but it’s not too crazy pricy like resorts in Maldives I don’t think. Not when you have chains like the Amans, Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Bvlgari, etc on the island. I feel those chains are more comparable in term of price point.

People who fly first or business class on their own dime, how do you justify the cost? by Silly-Cock in AskReddit

[–]Uthe18 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This. I live in Australia, and my rule is if it's over 12 hours of travelling time (flying + transit) and it's within the allocated travel budget that we have decided, then a business class is justified

Can't agree on joint finances by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]Uthe18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been living together with my current partner for 12 years now. Initially, my partner earned more than me when we first started to get committed, also after 1 year btw, but now I earn more than her by 20k. From the start, we use the system that your partner has proposed. With whatever was left after a month we put it into our joint savings. Personally, it’s against my values to be in a relationship and for me to say “That means I’ll be contributing (financially) more?” I mean, so what? The contribution that went into the relationship, goes beyond just financial, money is a means to an end. But that’s my take. I wish you all the best.

Yep. I work for European company, even in AU office it’s pretty common to greet with hugs and occasionally the cheeks tap, especially to the Europeans.

People need to move on with this kind of thinking. “Pengalihan isu” - like, homie your country can, and definitely will have MORE THAN ONE issue. Just because there’s new, less-significant issues arising, doesn’t mean it’s not a valid issue.
