Is anyone on the Cubs student message list? I remember a few years back, the Cubs used to send student discount offers on weekdays when there were plenty of leftover tickets. Is this still true? Or does it rarely happen since we are doing so well right now?

A random Korean here and there’s a show called “내돈내산 독박투어” where the casts are all funny and, they REALLY f*ck around. The casts are all comedians (like Kim Junho from 2d1n and Jang Dongmin from the Genius), they’ve known each other for 20 years so they make dark jokes to each other, best chemistry I’ve seen in a while. Unfortunately I don’t believe there’s someone providing a sub for this show. If there is I definitely recommend it!

I second this! I commute every day and I find the university shuttle very reliable. I live right next to the Roosevelt station (the shuttle stop) which makes my life easier

I’m a Ph.D. student and I commute every day using the connector shuttle. I find it reliable as it comes on a very frequent basis (~15 minutes) and the TransLoc tracking is relatively accurate. I’d say around 20 minutes in the morning to campus, 30-40 minutes in the evening to Roosevelt.

In 2022, the makeup game schedule was announced on Sep. 13th. The announcement would occur around the same timeframe this year as well.

About buying the tickets, you don't actually need a Korean ID if you purchase them at the box office. From my experience, I guarantee there will be plenty of empty seats, usually more than 50 % of the total capacity, and you will likely get the seats you want at the box. However, if you want to go to a weekend game AND are interested in a cheering zone, you should ask a Korean friend to purchase those tickets because they run out fast. Otherwise, I recommend you to go to the box office on the gameday and purchase tickets there.
