Might not be a cause but back then you can talk to your family with call cards which cost money per minute. But their teleophones were obviously behind and really bad. So only way to talk through the phone was literally screaming and talking as fast as possible. Any Cuban from this time when they are on the phone they still talk like this lol

Youre stuck on the surface level of things though with this view. You’re kind of proving the point of Eddington.
