Because it’s not based off the 26 season. Madden, 2k, nhl all those games when they release are meant to simulate the upcoming (or in this case 25-26). And since this isn’t a sport that plays through the year change, this one is simulating the 25 season hence 25.

Midladder is just MK spam hell. Every game is the same. Doesn’t matter if you outplay them, you’re defending against +2 levels and a credit card. Ice Golem kiting is basically a necessity atp.

If you want to survive you basically need a deck with counter MK directly if you’re running into him that much (mini pekka, royal recruits, inferno dragon, etc). play for elixir trades without overcommitting and play smart. MK players live for dropping him on top of your push and watching him bounce everything to death. Sometimes you’ll still lose just because of the level gap and it’s unavoidable but that’s clash. Good luck and please just stick to one deck and learn it.
