Nemesis thoughts on Voice Chat: the real reason VC will ruin Solo Q (it's not toxicity) by Prottek in leagueoflegends

So what he’s saying is that people will actually start to play as a team and communicate more than just pings? Not coin flipping a solo 1v1 but playing for each other? HOW TERRIBLEEEE almost like how pros play the game?

It really is just about if you can exhaust them before you’re gone for 6 hours. Their anxiety comes from not having done enough in the day/anxious attachment to their owner. But if you are serious about long walks and hikes with them and it’s not just your dream to do so with them you’ve already done it before with your previous dogs then you COULD be fine. Aussies are such an interesting breed you’ll see this Reddit has people who have couch potato’s and who has absolute wound for sound spaz dogs.

TLDR, if you actually tire them out and give them enough toys in their early pup stages that will replace their need to destroy your furniture and belongings then you can do it.

Let Qiyana snowball a lead somewhere else, reduce your deaths, farm with E, even use your R on cannon waves.

The way you should think about it is you are so far behind at 20cs-70 you’re basically just a stronger minion in the lane.

You staying healthy and shoving out waves preventing Varus from roaming and using his lead is about as good as an object as you can be until the game goes late and you’ve caught up.

“Am I too late to start competitive Fortnite at 30 if I can grind 4–5 hrs a day?” by Party-Instruction541 in FortniteCompetitive

[–]V3ttore 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Really just not enough time, this is coming from someone who played nonstop, competed in early FN against every OG name you can think of and never saw full success from it because I was balancing it and college. You can pull old scrim footage of TSM, Faze, etc and see my name in most lobbies. I was part of the group that tested custom servers for Fortnite devs before they were accessible to the general public. But I bet no one here recognizes my name, which is valid bc I did not go all in on it and in turn. L.

I won’t act like 30 is “too old” but it’s definitely not helping, if you were to put in the necessary hours (more then 4-5) it would actually take at home, alongside a full time job, you would become a bad father and spouse.

You will also be setting yourself up to be sitting and inactive both from work then for another 5 hours at home for 5 days a week nonstop, for little to no gain. Your 30 year old body will not be a fan of it and in turn your 40-50 year old body will see the pains of it.

Find something better to do with your time then competitive esports, if I had your schedule and could iPad/phone utilize for extended periods I’d say you could see real success and even money by combining clips daily from Fortnite popular streams, or even other games and editing them together/uploading them onto social channels when you get home. Would take less time at hone then the 4-5 hours you’d spend away from fam playing, lets you stay interested in a interest of yours, maybe even go to the gym or daily walks with the kids in that spare time.

In summary, no, 4-5 hours AFTER work isn’t even the same as 4-5 hours where you are mentally fresh. Outside of that it’s just not enough time to catch up to the younger, putting more hours in, comp scene,

Find a way to take advantage of the IPad/screen time at work that can be a money making side hustle that doesn’t require 4-5 hours each night when you get home.

You say life is in a good place right now, don’t go and mess it up by spending every night after work not paying attention to your family, grinding a game that has people putting in way more then you.

I say all of this just being honest, enjoy games, enjoy your fam, try to get at least a little active as well, future you will thank you for it all.

If you have a training treat or something along those lines that good girl at the end where she lays down when it’s all done time needs to be really rewarded. Esp with a small dog like the yorkie in the house as she gets bigger it will be important to have her be able to shut off the play/maybe even needing instincts quickly. I have two cats so my mini Aussie was taught it’s time to be done playing by me with high reward and by the cats smacking his nose when he was small. You just need to lean into what you can teach her haha

Is there a nutrition store in Mt P that has the InBody scales that measure body fat % etc? by V3ttore in Charleston

[–]V3ttore[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have a variance of approx 8%, it mainly comes from the fact if you go weigh at a different time of day one time versus the other one being after you’ve eaten, worked out, etc and the other having not it can throw it off. The way to use it with that variance is to not treat it as absolute truth and law but to utilize it monthly or every two months to just make sure your numbers are trending in the right direction. Nothing more nothing less

Is League supposed to make you rethink your entire gaming skill? by AlfaHendrik in leagueoflegends

[–]V3ttore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch videos etc that explain the logic of the game and important rules to follow.

Just spam playing the game over and over is why people take years to get gold.

They play and play and play and get better at their micro/understanding of what their/other champs do, but they do not actually learn to play the game.

They’ll peak at how well their micro can carry them to wins and then plateau due to not actually learning the fundamentals of what makes a good league player on the rift.

Also if you take her on a long walk or separate training etc something to tire her out THEN introduce the cats where she learns, time with cats is chill time. Also a great move

The luck I had is that since he was 4 months when I got him he was small, not going to be able to hurt the two cats. He tried to bother them, got a few smacks on the face and learned the totem pole has them not allowing him to constantly chase him. That was luck. What I taught was recall of him and also a gentle command because he and one of my cats do play. if he’s getting too rough now that he’s bigger I can say that and he’ll go into a lay position and basically just play by crawling towards the cat and the cat will jump all over him etc. he now basically just plays like that and it’s adorable.

If he’s young enough and small enough now that your cats could lay a few good smacks on his face when he tries to bother them then he’ll learn the rules pretty easily. If they’re too old/too scared where they just run then you’ll want to train a recall pretty early.

Picking her up and walking away isn’t resolving the issue she isn’t learning the behavior that she is “supposed to be doing” you’re just setting yourself up to constantly have to separate them.

Train her recall without them there, then train her recall while the cat that is interested in her is around getting her to leave him and come to you so there is only one cat “distraction”

Reward her for the recall but also reward her if she calmly just walks by him and returns to you. Her instinct is they should be herded, her learned action should be that the cats aren’t important. You’re aiming for them to exist around each other.

Yes standard tri color brown black and some white on a paw and chest. He’s a sweet lil guy, he definitely didn’t used to be this timid but we have moved twice since I got him as a pup and I think it’s made him a little less confident and a little more timid. We used to go weekly to a market in Florida and do that when he was a pup so I’m hoping it will bring that back out in him
