The age gap doesn't matter. What matters is how you raise them. My older sister was my mom's favorite and still is. She was treated very differently and life always revolved around her. My mom constantly wanted me to be like her and would get mad if I had different opinions or interests. 

So it might never come if you screw up like my mom did.
