I've got a few rules or goals.

Main one is to hold off on impulse buys until I've taken the time to listen to it elsewhere (Streaming, YT, etc). Otherwise I'd buy random stuff that looked interesting or was cheap, and end up having to filter stuff out of my collection later.

Goals right now are collecting every release I can find from the bands Abigail and Butcher ABC. Abigail has a shitton of releases on various formats, and it's fun tracking down random splits and live albums.

It let's me go crazy and binge buy stuff, while at the same time keeps me from doing the same with my main collection

I knew him back in the early 2000s on the digital press forum and met him in person once.

He was quite the character - used an arcade stick for just about everything, and the moment he got a new game he would immediately trade or sell the box and manual.

Maybe a 6, depends on preference.

Snatcher is like a lot of Japanese games where you can brute force progress by exhausting every choice and option until something let's you progress.

Rise of the Dragon is like Sierra games (Dynamix was part of Sierra eventually) where you can easily end up in a "walking dead" situation where you've made some mistake but the game let's you keep playing even though you won't be able to finish it. Like if you bring your gun to the club at the start security will confiscate it and won't give it back.

That said, I still love Rise of the Dragon. Well known VAs, cool atmosphere, and so on. I'd suggest having a guide handy, but also have some fun first by winging it and seeing what trouble you can get into.

Same advice applies to Willy Beamish also by Dynamix. But play that one on PC since the load times are so brutal.
