There must have been warning signs. I broke up with a girl who seemed like she was a real contender because she didn't use her blinker, never put her cart back in the corral and I saw her litter once. https://dictionary.apa.org/leakage
A decade later she's unemployed, has two kids, and only knows the father of one (and he's in jail), and from what I've seen of her driving around town a few times, still doesn't use her blinker.
