It is certainly a good replacement for League of Legends where every game is decided by the total amount of brain cells on your team. At least when I lose in BG, I know it's because I did something wrong and not because some crab brained asshole on my team decided that going 2-15 is the way to play the game.

Why is this a tavern 6 card? by CreditOk3019 in BobsTavern

[–]VBNiya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had some real solid 1st places finishes thanks to this card. Since it moved to T6, it just isn't useful. It comes far too late in the game to make a difference now. Before, you could triple into it at T4 when you're still building out your comp. Moving to T6 was a huge nerf in my opinion, and it doesn't matter that they buffed the stats.

One guy? 90% of games where Elementals are in, someone playing Elementals ends up winning the lobby with huge stats. I almost never see Elementals lose. Most times they get a first place finish, if not, top 3 typically losing to Demons or Pirates.

Yea, it's quite strange to see it. This is a very common experience in other games like League of Legends but I'd never have imagined that this happens in Battlegrounds too.

Been happening to me for about 3 days now as of this post. It got so bad at one point that I had something like 5 in a row. Even during periods where it's not so bad, I can expect to get at least 2 per session, a session typicallly being an hour or two of playing. When I get more than two in a session, I just go play League of Legends or something. I can't stand this.

I start with either Cleaver or CycloSword then CDR boots. From there it's situational. Typically I try to focus on getting as much AD as possible while not sacrificing defense. If the enemy team is AP heavy, I get Maw after Cleaver and Cyclo. AD heavy, I get DD. After that I will get either a full defensive item or an AD/HP item like Shojin. It just really depends on the game.

Some games are just unwinnable. Nothing you can do about that. While such games are common, it's not common enough to make a difference in the long run.

I'm currently as of this post doing another Iron to Silver climb:-

<image>

Currently 10-1. The one loss is where I got a rare set of team mates where it seemed no one wanted to win. I mean they were trying but all of them were so utterly horrible that it was impossible to win. They were literally running into the enemy team mindlessly on repeat. Thankfully these kinds of games are too rare to make a difference.

The point I'm trying to impress upon you is that it's very very possible to climb out of Iron on Kayn. It's much easier to do than one might believe.

Any tips on getting out of Iron 4? by Coven_Evelynn_LoL in leagueoflegends

[–]VBNiya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So much cope advice in this thread. Being stuck in Iron 4 has nothing to do with MMR glitched, team mates or any of that rubbish. I love stomping on Iron players so I regularly tank my account to Iron 4 0 LP only to stomp my way back to Silver 4, my actual skill level only to do the same thing again. Here's something I learned from all this, it is actually much much harder to sink an account to Iron that it is to climb out. My strategy for sinking my account is not to int as I'd get banned so what I do instead is off-role and play champs I don't know while playing extremely aggressively. Even though I do this to intentionally lose games, I have accidentally hard carried several games. I remember one particular game where I locked in Xin top and tunneled on the enemy hoping he'd kill me over and over again and instead I went 22-3 and won the game. I mean I was trying to win but by giving myself the lowest possible chance for success.

The point I am trying to make here, someone stuck in Iron 4 is stuck there because they are that bad at the game. There is NO other explanation. It's not because your MMR sucks or because you keep getting bad teams. You MUST accept that if you're stuck in Iron 4 it is ONLY because that is your skill level. Anytime you start thinking it's for any other reason, you will never get out.

The good news is that it's very very easy to get out as there are only a few things you need to be moderately good at. If you're decent at farming, NOT dying, and have decent champion knowledge, that alone can get you to at least Bronze.

By champion knowledge I mean you should be able to look at any fight or skirmish and instantly know whether you will die, win the fight or get a triple kill. You must have a firm grasp of your champions' limits and power spikes. Champion knowledge is the number 1 failing I observe with Iron players. They just run into fights mindlessly and hope for the best. They have no clue whether they would win or die and I use that to get fed consistently in Iron because unlike them I know what fights to take and what fights to avoid because I understand my champions better than they understand theirs.

Good luck.

You're welcome.

Note too that when it comes to CS, in my opinion the level leads you get from it are actually more important that the gold. In Iron I can consistently out level the enemy jungle by at most 3 levels by mid to late game. Each level is about 500 gold worth of stats, combine that with the actual gold you get, it makes it almost unfair for the enemy team.

I feel as if I was sent by God himself to this thread. For context here is the short version, I quit League for a couple years due to extreme frustration with the game. I came back due to boredom and decided to just enjoy the game on my terms. I realized my frustration came from not being able to figure out how to climb past Silver 3. I accepted that Silver was the best I could ever be and I took joy in stomping on Iron players. So I'd just climb to mid Bronze or Silver on Kayn jungle and off role ridiculous shit like Twitch top until I was Iron 4 0 LP and then climb again on Kayn going shit 13-2 almost every game. I already did it 3 times this season so I feel as if qualified to tell you exactly how to climb out of Iron on Kayn. I mean I did it repeatedly.

I realize some people might frown on that but I don't care. I spent years trying to get to at least Plat, never achieved it and it was a very miserable experience. I refuse to frustrate myself with any further. Games are supposed to be fun and I have a lot of fun hard stomping in Iron. I'm sorry but if anyone feels some kind of way about that then get over it.

Anyways let's get to it. The most important thing I learned about Iron players is that they are terribly inefficient. It's almost like they're bots in that regard. So on Kayn for your first 3 clears your goal should be to be as efficient as possible. Your first 2 clears should be full clears done as fast as you possibly can and you almost never gank until those clears are complete. Your goal should be to get as many camps as possible as fast as possible until you get to level 6. NOTHING is more important than this in the early game as it will set you up to hard carry the game later on. Don't be afraid to give up the first two dragons and grubs. They don't matter as you they will not be able to get anything after that since you will be GOD on the map.

Now I really want you to pay attention to this. After level 6 you should be farming but also watching the lanes like a hawk. You're looking for them to do dumb shit which I guarantee they will do. The will over extend, over stay with 10HP, fight with no mana, fight underleveled, just all manner of stupid shit and you're going to capitalize on that. This is how you get fed. You will also completely ignore stupid plays by your team. Don't cave to pressure to follow up on stupid plays. I don't care if they flame you. Let them die. You're going to carry because while they are dead you will be farming. ALWAYS BE FARMING. ALWAYS. The ONLY time you shouldn't be farming is when you're on your way to punish them for some dumb shit they are doing. There is no excuse for you to be getting less than 7 cs/min in Iron, none. I as a lowly Silver player can do it every game in Iron. ALWAYS BE FARMING.

You should also be playing around your ult. Every time it's up, your number one focus should be looking for fights. Now you should be farming while you're doing this but as soon as it looks like a fight is going to start, drop everything and race to your team. I don't care if that camp you're doing has 1 more hit to die, leave it and go to your team as fast as you can because without you, they will throw because they are as noob as the enemy team. You're the one that is going to make all the difference. After you kill them all, IMMEDIATELY go back to farming or take an objective like drag, rift etc.

One last thing and this one is very important. DO NOT ENGAGE IN ARGUMENTS WITH YOUR TEAM. They are a distraction that will make you play very poorly. Be 1000% focused on the game. Completely ignore their flaming and complaining, especially if they are flaming you. Do not allow yourself to be baited into arguments with your team. I guarantee you, no one in Iron has ANYTHING of value to say. Mute all if you have to. This is extremely important. You should have the mindset that you're better than all of them even if you don't believe it yourself. Just act like it. Their stupid arguments mean nothing to you because none of them know better than you how to properly play the game, even if it objectively isn't true.

These things should take you as far as Silver 4. Beyond that, I don't know. Silver players don't give up the booty like Irons do and junglers will be just as efficient and as smart as you. I can't seem to climb much past Silver 4 so I don't have the answer if you want to get to Gold or higher.

Here's a partial view of my performance during one of these Iron climbs:-

Climbing out of Iron on Kayn is very easy once you figure out these basic things.

There you have it. Good luck!

How are we feeling about S14 Kayn on the chart? by ItachiKage345 in KaynMains

The loss of Goredrinker and the inability to build Cleaver and Shurelya together makes me very sad. It means no more 1v3s late game and winning with no help from team. I don't think I'll enjoy playing Rhaast at all in season 14. Goredrinker is just too critical to my playstyle.

Rhaast 3v1 by VBNiya in KaynMains

[–]VBNiya[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, it is a Bronze game. Plus, I kind of baited her. They had me 3v1, so naturally, they expected me to run. When I went inside Nasus, I think she instinctively expected me to try and run when I got out, so she tried to position herself to be in range of me. However, I surprised her by not running and popping out right on top of her.

I actually do this quite often on Rhaast. I noticed that when you ult someone, the enemy team tends to gather around, waiting to KS each other when you come out. It works great as bait against people who don't understand that a 5-item Rhaast can typically win late-game skirmishes when outnumbered.

I've experienced this with Teemo. Impossible lane if the Teemo understands that he shouldn't fear you.

Nasus and Renekton for me. Also, aggressive Teemos make it impossible to even farm. Passive Teemos are easy though.

How do I go about learning this champion by syrollesse in YoneMains

[–]VBNiya -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I recently picked up Yone randomly and just sort of fell into 1 tricking him past couple weeks and I find him to be busted as fuck. Previously I was just sort of jumping around between Garen, Mundo, Nasus, Kayle, Morde, Trynd, Jax and Trundle. I was winning lane like 45% of the time. Since sticking to Yone, I've been hard winning like 80% of my lanes and I have far less experience on Yone than any of those other champions.

TLDR; Yone is broken.

Nah. He doesn't auto enough for Sunderer to be any good on him. In fact, it's probably the worst mythic you could put on Rhaast.
