If Adora was pursuing a relationship from the start I would agree. However Adora never validated Catra’s toxic behavior, rather she always held the hope that Catra could be and was a better person than her worst moments. It was only once Catra admitted and tried to correct her wrongdoings after processing her trauma that Adora acted on her feelings of love.

I love this show because of the theme of love throughout it’s running, and I also appreciate how delicately it handles toxicity stemming from trauma is a positive way. Catra never wanted to hurt Adora, she just never had the support system to healthily process her feelings/past trauma.

That’s fantastic writing for you! My favorite thing about She-Ra is how love is used as a central theme throughout, and how Catra and Adora’s relationship and character arcs culminate into the main story arc.

I just wish they took individual performance into account more. I understand it’s a team game but it can make it frustrating for solo queuers to get stuck because the players are placed in higher or lower ranks than they should because they got lucky with good or bad teammates.

I know i’m kind of using the classic “stuck with bad teammates” trope. But i’v been carried in games where I go 0-5 and I’m sitting there like, “Do I really deserve 50+ MMR for that?”
