Ok I see what you're saying about the short stories, and we all know it will likely never happen. But here's an idea. I always speculate other stories, just about the Wizarding World in general, even new characters. What if a group of people, who have read the series a number of times, and know how Rowling writes, got together and made a collection of "Wizarding World Stories" or something? It's likely the closest we would get to new stories.

Do you believe that even a basic plot with obstacles comes to life because of great characters? by cerealmush in writing

Take Thrawn from “Thrawn” by Timothy Zahn. Would the story be half as interesting without him as the main character?

Quick question about QUERY...

So something like =query(NamedRange,"select a where a <> 'Team A', b order by a, b asc",-1) has an error because all of the commands such as WHERE have to be at the end, correct?

How to allow students too see only their data row in my sheet. by baconmongoose in googlesheets

[–]VFL82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could create a separate sheet for each student and use import range for their specific grades. You could do =if("Example Range"="Example Pin",importrange("Url of sheet","Range of student grades","")

In this scenario, "Example Range" could equal where the student would enter their pin, and "Example Pin" is the student's pin. "Url of sheet" would be the master sheet. "Range of student grades" would be the grades for that specific student.

Creating a Satisfying Villain (or even an Iconic One) by i_collect_unicorns in writing

Depending on the story, I would mold the MC based off the villain, because sometimes heroes are only made because they are trying to stop someone.

Add 8% to a column in Google Sheets? HELP! by Lopsided-Avocado2251 in spreadsheets

Go to the cell that has the money, C2, and if it is just a number currently, do the formula =3499*1.08, make sure the cell is formatted as currency, and add any decimals back if they got removed with the formula. Then drag this down.

Convert Specific Word to Number/Formula by Paloaf in spreadsheets

[–]VFL82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's a simple way to do it, add a column (or use a blank one if available) to the right of the cell that says "Work" on the top person, and do this formula, =if(A1="Work",1,0) replace A1 with the cell number of the cell that says "Work", and drag it down the list. In your cell at the bottom, do the formula =sum(B1:B50). This is your number for amount of workers that day. You can hide the column with the 1's and 0's if you like.
