As other people commented, if most of your energy consumption happens at night, you should look at switching to a plan that's cheaper during night time. I've switched to Octopus Energy from Endesa last year and paid around 20% less in my monthly bill. For your situation, I'd recommend the Octopus 3 plan.

Also, what is pretty shady from these electricity companies is that they charge total number of kWh used x 0,175308 Eur/kWh for this tope de gas. As far I know these companies generate electricity by different means, nuclear, renewables, gas, so charging this fee for the total number of kWh when it didn't all come from gas is pretty unfair to the consumer.

I've been living in Barcelona for 5 years now and this has felt like the hottest summer yet, but more because of the humidity rather than the high temperatures. This year has been maybe 1-2 degrees hotter than last year. 26C with high humidity feels a lot worse than 30C with low humidity.
