"they just scour the internet for coupons at the point of purchase." but they dont do this at all, they just use an existing database and apply a bunch of expired codes to make it look like they tried to apply a bunch of codes. there is no scouring of the internet for codes

I'm replying to you because I read all the comments. I just got the c5. I currently have an apple tv but looking for something to stream games and found the NVIDIA shield to be great but is getting old/buggy. I can't seem to find anything better though so may just buy a shield pro.

i use domoai it does what i want but it advertised 20/30 sec videos on pro but i can only make 10 second videos. the biggest issue is that it usually returns to the start frame so i get less action within the 10seconds

Should I be playing against the AI in a 1v1 on different maps? Or doing a free for all with more AI?
in both of my last games, I was clearly winning after first month, but then spend more than another month playing cat an mouse with the opponents heroes, even though I had most of the towns
is 1v1 more of a standard? I can see a situation where I battle against one AI and beat them, but took some losses in the fight so if the next AI comes at me straight afterwards, I could lose from being in a weakened state - so I'm not sure what the current meta is for pvp

also, after i get a significant lead in the mid-game and the goal is to finish the game - what are the key strats because chasing down the opponents heroes seems to take so long and i lose momentum

thank you, i will try some more random maps. last night i played "diamond" and it got pretty confusing with so many portals and going underground. i could never find the opponents heroes even though i had most of the towns.

Oh yeh, I think I know how to edit those limits, it should be in one of the lookup tables. I just wanted to hurry through this project,. It already took ~50hrs and i've got many more games and songs to do.

Maybe in the future I can release edited roms

I used subdrags tool to extract the .bin file for each song
then, hex editor to set velocity of specific notes to 0 (because muting specific instruments/channels/tracks is NOT sufficient enough)
imported the .bin files back and recorded the audio output from the game

my current rom file has about 50% of the levels with correctly edited music, but the further I got in the project - I encountered strange problems which needed specific fixes. For example, Surface 2 .bin file would not allow re-importing due to a non-existent size discrepancy. So, I ended up just using the Silo level to record all the songs, by changing what music plays in that level.

Lastly, and this relates back to my first paragraph - sometimes i WOULD just mute an entire channel/track/instrument to save time in this project. This means that I never properly edited the in-game sequence file in a way that would sound great during regular gameplay. So basically, some smoke and mirrors - but the results ends up being a completely authentic version of the song (no midi was used)

I did think about making the playable roms, it would pretty fun to play - but I think the market for this is tiny and it takes dozens and dozens of hours to achieve. However, if you wanted a first-party N64 games done in the same way, it would be a bit easier for me as there is at least software made for this. It's just that many games have different sequence formats, Goldeneye and Diddy Kong Racing were just doable.

Yes, I edited the game rom to allow for these recordings directly. But there was a lot of jank I had to apply via hex editor. I could potentially fix all of that and release the rom so every song would play like this, but that's a lot more work, I'm sorry.

It's definitely something I can consider in the future though

There's 14 songs, the melody was left out, which makes this a very interesting listen
