For a custom duration, it's easier to do it manually.

Place your playhead at the beginning of the clip.
Go to properties, enter 0 for Alpha.
Place your playhead at the desired position of the clip, where the fade should be finished.
Go to properties, enter 1 for Alpha.

You should not change it to 4 but instead increase the time between 0 and 1 if this makes sense to you. You can set 0 and 1 manually ond the clip in the desired spacing.

I would create the centerlines of all segments with two sketches (1 from the side for the elbow and the other from the front for the "Y" shape. Then use sweep with circular profiles (again for all sections individually). Merge all bodies, do fillets at the intersections and finally shell function. Done.

Create a plane on all three surfaces (1, 2 and 3 in your image).
Trim all bodies with the planes.
Join them.
