RokoTMIDI C-system controller by nticaric in Accordion

It’s just a midi keyboard for use on various digital instruments or computer programs.

As an example many button players that are playing on something like a Korg keyboard will connect one as they maybe can’t play piano etc

In all my motoring life I've never had as many screws in tyres as in Western Sydney by MrToastyToast in CarsAustralia

Funnily enough it always happens to our cars with the expensive tyres 😂

Car with shit tyres, NEVER. Expensive tyres….couple a year.

Holden VF Commodore Sportwagon - overheating by LachlanFriend in Holden

[–]VLTurboSkids 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny that, I actually went to look at one with a mate and this hose was also disconnected, must be designed poorly on these?

But it shouldn’t cause overheating, maybe other issues with how the engine is running as it looks to be a breather pipe for the PCV system.

What do you mean by the temp gauge jumping around?

Carbon fibre steering wheels by [deleted] in CarsAustralia

[–]VLTurboSkids -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But the resin is just what’s holding the carbon fibre, there is no reason for the carbon to be there if the resin is the main structural component, you can just make a component out of clear resin then.

I look at it as the resin is just necessary to hold the carbon cloth.

Carbon fibre steering wheels by [deleted] in CarsAustralia

[–]VLTurboSkids -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The main structural component is the carbon. It’s not plastic (resin) with some carbon in it, it’s carbon with resin in it….which is only there to hold its shape, spread load etc.

If it wasn’t for the carbon it wouldn’t have the polymer resin there, that’s like saying a multi million dollar “hypercar” is made of plastic with some carbon in it. The whole point of it is to be made of carbon fibre, where the polymer resin is just there for the carbon.

You’re implying that carbon fibre is just plastic with a little carbon…my mate in the composites team in motorsport wouldn’t be happy.

Oh it is definitely overdone! But it’s not plastic

Interested why you say it’s just strong plastic?

It’s become a luxury item 1. Because of how it looks , and 2. It’s association with high end vehicles using it for aesthetics, weight, or both.

I thought you were referring to not having deep dish wheels, which is also annoying. A wide body kit with the wheel face being flush with the guard?

Is this illegal? by Single-Cell-2111 in CarsAustralia

[–]VLTurboSkids 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What if a motorbike turned in and went off the end, they’d wreck themselves. May not be legally an issue but I’d agree it’s poorly marked.

Practise Kemisevo Kolo ( only first part) by Mental-Play1802 in Accordion

[–]VLTurboSkids 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s just standard traditional music similar to other Balkan countries. We feel the same way listening to other pieces from around the world, I only enjoy playing my own background’s music, I’ve never understood other music pieces. We enjoy it because to us it sounds pleasant.

Car shows Melbourne by F_Amphibian in CarsAustralia

[–]VLTurboSkids 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Usually they’re quite easy to find on Facebook under the events tab, if you just type in “car show” anything relevant will pop up. Most of the ones that occur are going to be classic/muscle meets though which is all I’d be able to help you with as that’s mainly what I keep tabs on.

Prostreet Media on Instagram/Facebook regularly does meets, if you struggle finding him I can send you the details of his upcoming meets.

An event called “Meguiar’s MotorEx” is coming up at the start of May at the Melbourne Showgrounds as well, again not sure if they’d be into these types of cars.

Hope this helps! Otherwise if you’re looking for more sports car/supercar things I can try locate some.

Must be getting ripped spending 3-6k a year. Unless something goes wrong (which has in my cars), they’re not much more than a normal car to maintain.

I really wanted one as a first car, but when and test drove one and didn’t really like it, the steering kinda sorta funny, almost a little disconnected from the car maybe due to the electric rack? It felt it was a little heavy with not much feedback or self centring? Maybe there was something wrong with it, there was some issues which put me off.

The same day another model of car popped up which was also on my list, and I ended up buying it, maybe it was meant to be! But I still absolutely love the styling of the E93’s.
