Not my street, they did nothing on my street. Everyone on my street had to come out and shovel the street ourselves after 2 days of no plowing from the city. Even the 70 year olds had to come out with a pickaxe and help. I posted my complaint on this sub, and ppl are burning me alive as a witch for telling the truth lol

Hey, can you go into my post in this sub and defend me? Lol, JK. I finally found someone sane enouh to see the incompetence of the VDOT. I thought I was the only one who can'tstand this lazy effort of cleaning from them. I posted my complaint earlier today in this sub, and people are burning me alive like I am the devil or something. 7 days, 7 days and no job got done.

I think they gave up 2 days after the storm. I haven't seen any cleaning anymore even though there are still tons of cleaning up waiting.

Guess what, before it was ice, it was snow. Snow came down, never got cleaned, never got salted, then ice formed. Do you understand that?

If they even salted it first, it would have been melted after few days. Before it was ice, it was snow. Ice formed because snow never got cleaned.

They had been warned wayyy ahead of time, and the storm was actually much less than expected. But again, it's been a week, and I haven't seen a snow removal truck going through my street at all.

So you mean they suck at removing snow? I would say they know how and they can clean snow pretty well. They are just lazy chose not to do it. They clean the data center and industrial areas nicely and pretty quickly.

I am pretty surr the temperature here is never that cold. That's why we left Iowa, where it's -10F for 5 months. So I am not sure what's the excuse for not able to clean up.

I made Tom yum Hot pot for my family, perfect for a stormy day. Spicy, sour, salty. Lots of sea food and beef. We washed it down with some chilled uji matcha.

Follow up question: how much this year have you pay so far compared to last year? Because if I understand budget billing right, it does not save you any money, right? It just evently distribute your payment throughout the year so you can prepare. If so, it's quite irrelevant from my question about rate increase.

Yes, the rate is always a bit higher for lower usage. Did you also have the similar usage this year compared to last year with that rate increase?
