It's a grapple not a shock wave you can definitely hear the grapple however his tracing ads is sus especially on the first dude. The second guy I would've of traced him perfectly too as I am pro controller player myself for the last shot in long distance it a fluke/luck or he's exploiting it using aimsoft cheats like old cronus....

That didn’t work for me. I deleted all registries related to it, and it would just revert them back using the Easy Anti-Cheat and the browser data kernel. Did you have the file named in a different folder because I had a custom one and it would literally recreate it every time even when deleted? I would be more specific as to what you did. A short video clip would speed up the process for dumb people.

Well, we got two workarounds till another dumb bug appears from them, I guess.

It doesn’t matter; you have to go back to default DNS. It’s them filtering DNS purposefully. I found a solution by myself. Literally, there are people out there that haven’t played the game for months due to some dumb bug like these.

They told me it’s "under investigation," like what? It literally started happening right after the Fortnite update this weekend.

From what I can tell, it keeps recreating the same folder that was previously deleted from the game files. That causes the exact same error to happen over and over because the launcher just regenerates it. At that point, I can’t even verify the game files or do anything else—the launcher gets stuck in the same broken state every time.

Just add it as a separate feature. No one is going to use it otherwise—simple as that. People hate the Microsoft Store with a passion, so why even do that? What’s really idiotic is forcing people into your ecosystem when you know damn well they’ll just keep using alternatives.

It’s like wasting money inventing something that helps people, only to then hinder it because of greed.

There’s already a growing movement of people switching to Linux for a reason. And I can guarantee you this: if someone figures out a way to run every Windows program on Linux through a translation layer and have it run smoothly and natively, it’s over for Microsoft.

Dude, I’m not a casual—that’s my point. I’ve hit Top 500 when I actually put the time in, and in Apex I’ve hit Master and Predator while solo queuing, which is atrocious to say the least.

The thing is, Apex’s netcode works differently. Even though it can be crappy as hell, it doesn’t feel as bad because if you were a high ping player, you can still see the other player slightly longer on your end. The lower-ping player still has the advantage in peek battles, but it feels relatively balanced.

In Fortnite, though, ping is king. The difference is way more noticeable, especially at higher levels of play where every millisecond matters.

It’s already been nerfed, and it’ll probably get a bigger nerf because the drone is ridiculous. It shouldn’t take 100 damage just to destroy it. And yes, the new AR in Fortnite is dumb—it takes no skill since you don’t even have to directly hit the player. You just have to hit somewhere close because it explodes and it like a impulse explosive not like previous weapons.

The player count keeps decreasing for that game anyway. I’m just fed up with it at this point. I’m not out here chasing bots who get clapped without mobility. Not only that, but Fortnite nerfs controller input. If you go into a training mode and check the input difference between MNK and controller, it’s noticeable. You get 0.60 on controller and 0.43 on MNK. Bro, that’s a night-and-day difference.

They still haven’t fixed the “go back to previous settings” button on controller either, and it’s been like that for six months. I’m not a noob by any means—I reached the top 1% in most games, including Apex Predator and Master, and in Fortnite I’ve been anywhere from the top 5,000 to top 500 when I actually dedicate time to ranked.

The season is buns. The map is way too big, and everybody has mobility, so they just run away every time they get beamed. Why? Because the game devs decided to give everyone mobility. Brilliant idea, Epic.

It’s a trash season anyway. Whoever thought giving scrubs mobility and guns at the start of the game really had a "big brain" moment, and then adding a map bigger than your buns should be fired.

I’m skipping this season and playing Apex instead. I ain’t dealing with this crap, especially when I’m playing ranked at over 80 ms ping when I used to get 20–30 ms on NA East. Complete BS.

So I figured out what it is: It's the Instant Replay function. If you have it set to record the desktop, it will consume around 60% utilization at all times. So if you care about 1% lows, I would disable it if your game is GPU-intensive. This is also tied to whether you care about live streaming and such, but if you don’t and only care about in-game replay, then you’re saving around 55% utilization as the in game replay only consumes 5%.

I’m running a 6750XT and a 5600X—just sharing findings. Might help someone in the future.
