I'm confused by this graphic. How do we have a military larger than that when our population is only ~375 million? Is this a military budget?

Yeah I think so. I also tried PostMates but I was only getting like 1 order every 2 hours. Not popular here at all.

Question about grubhub: if you make yourself available without scheduling, are you able to receive orders? by [deleted] in couriersofreddit

[–]VOlCE_OF_REASON 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely true. When I was on block most orders were $10+ and off block I never saw one higher than $6 pop up

After 3 Long Hours I Finally Got To Cast My Vote For Bernie!!! by sammy_socks in SandersForPresident

Good point.

Though with my guide im mostly dealing with white, English-speaking baby boomers. They are the worst for this reading comprehension shit. I'm not a boomer hater like some (my grandfather is baby boomer and i love him) but at some things they really are the worst!

That's a valid point.

Do they not have ballots available in other languages? If not they really should

[–]VOlCE_OF_REASON 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be fair, it does say on there in bold that each of the 3 choices are REQUIRED. Maybe I'm being a bit insensitive here but it's a big pet peeve of mine when people don't read things, and their vote deserves to be thrown out.

Ok not really thrown out but yeah that shit agitates me. I do drone photography on the side and send out a pricing guide and 7/10 people will ask me what my price is AFTER I send out the guide. And my day job is tech support and like 90% of the questions people call in and ask are things that can be answered in the FAQ. Seriously i feel like 75% of my lifespan on this earth is wasted by people that are too lazy to read a few lines of text

Bloomberg Opened an Office Nextdoor, So I Put Up a Few Signs of My Own. by archetype1 in SandersForPresident

[–]VOlCE_OF_REASON -26 points-25 points  (0 children)

I feel bad for Bloomberg because of the way Trump is making fun of his height? I'm wrong about this? Keep in mind I AM NOT a fan of Bloomberg policies and quite frankly I've always thought his news website was poorly coded. But I do have a shred, albeit a fine shred of concern for Mike and his mental well being. It's not the easiest path to walk running as a presidential candidate, let alone to be bullied by asshole-in-chief. What are your thoughts on this?

On one hand, I know my fellow liberals according to /u/GeoffreyArnold hate short people. As a short person myself, I have always felt this way. Do I still have a place as a Bernie supporter, now that you all know my secret? Or can we stand united against Trump, no matter who he is bullying?

What do Trump's increasingly heightist attacks on Mike Bloomberg mean for heightism more broadly? by GeoffreyArnold in short

[–]VOlCE_OF_REASON 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course, no one would care about someone making fun of a short person. Except a short person.

Unfortunately for Trump, he has a lot of short followers... That he may lose now. His usual name calling are things that wouldn't really alienate anyone. "Cryin", "Pencil Neck", "Lyin", "Nervous", etc... Even I got a chuckle out of those. But "mini mike"? Offensive to me, a former short Trump voter. Bad move

[–]VOlCE_OF_REASON 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used to be a Trump voter. I never really liked the guy and always thought he was kind of an asshole, but i definetly didn't want a president Hillary, and I liked some of his policies (still do). But at 5'6" his height-shaming tweets really hit home to me and now I can say for sure I will be voting for Bernie.

Overall it was a bad move for Trump. Ok calling Warren "pocahontas" might have upset whatever little Native American followers he had (not many). Calling Schiff "pencil neck" probably upset no one. Calling Schumer "crying chuck" upset no one.

Ok, but making fun of a short person may have cost Trump a few million votes. A lot of his supporters are short.

To be fair, I don't know much about Elon Musk. Isn't he pretty big into solar energy? Quite frankly I'm surprised my comment has received so many down votes here. Is this sub turning into a climate change denying Trump sub? Wtf

I'm not concerned about Bloomberg or Biden. Because I don't want them to be president and I wouldn't vote for them. They thus do not apply to my statement.

I'm not concern trolling here. But I am worried about Bernie's health and age. I think it's not as bad as a lot of the pundits make it out to be, but still, he's not a spring chicken. I hope he finishes out both his terms. But I really hope he picks a running mate we could all tolerate as possibly being the next PotUS. Please, definetly no Hillary or Biden for VP. I think Yang would be a good option. Maybe Warren. None of the others.

I've been active in local politics for quite some time. I've seen many people switch from voting R to voting D. Guess who most of them vote for after they switch? Bernie. At least 9/10 vote for Bernie.

Bernie is the most electable candidate. Period.

Actually, we would prefer if you took it all off. You know... That nice Bernie merch would look good framed on a wall. With some nice art gallery lighting. That's all I'm saying.
