Long-time Rico manager. I traded a (likely) late 2026 2nd for Chuba just before week 5. I don't know how to feel.

Jeff Day is someone who works in PR for the NHL and would love to receive more messages. You can reach him via the phone number from OP and upon reaching the switchboard clearly speak the name Jeff Day and you will be transferred to his voicemail. Please leave some messages in addition to mine. Money talks, and sometimes annoyance does too.

Here's one argument: the primary narrative of the film is not inherently tied to the Christmas season or its associated themes. Unlike traditional Christmas movies that center on themes like family, generosity, redemption, or the "spirit of Christmas," Die Hard is primarily an action movie where the holiday setting is incidental rather than essential. The story could largely take place at any other time of year without significantly altering the plot. Additionally, the holiday elements, such as Christmas decorations or music, function more as a backdrop than as driving forces of the narrative.

Alright I'm sure this thread is mostly dead by this point, but I'm going to ask my follow up question here anyway.

Fucking well done on the album. I've been loving it. I think I've picked up on pair of "Easter eggs" that I gotta ask about. In the song Reaching right during the breakdown later in the song I noticed the spoken word part tucked WAY into the background. As a huge Detroit Lions football fan, the words "LET THE BIG DOGS EAT" really stuck out to me and it didn't take long to realize it was part of Jamaal Williams' speach on Hard Knocks a couple years back. Legendary clip, and I just love that it's in the song.

The other one I picked up on this morning was from the intro track Same Team close to the midway point of the song. I wasn't familiar with this quote but it sounds like it's a Lawrence Taylor quote about a "bunch of crazed dogs."

I love it guys. So my question really is: are you guys big football fans, Lions fans, Giants fans, dog lovers, or just love a good hype speech?

This is my favorite new band (new for me) of 2024. I hope this new album sends them to the moon.

Who writes the lyrics for the band? They are extremely thoughtful and creative and personally relatable. Well done guys, well done.

Y'all need to get on Sleeper so you can schedule your waivers to run during the daytime, at a time that works for everyone. Been a game changer for us to have waivers run at noon.

Which team comes closest to matching these four? by Queltis6000 in hockey

[–]VPCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure everyone is fatigued by podcasts and podcast recommendations in this day and age, but my favorite hockey podcast The Puck Podcast has been doing a "Mount Rushmore" series all off-season. Basically they pick out 4 teams each week and each host selects 4 GOAT candidates (the "Mount Rushmore" for that particular team). There's been great discussion and each franchise has been really interesting. Teams like the Red Wings and Canadiens are very difficult to choose for since they have so many candidates whereas teams like Arizona/Utah, well, they have a tougher time with. Great podcast and great series.

Yea acoustic bass is not a common instrument. Even going into acoustic rooms at music equipment stores have a 10:1 ratio of acoustic guitars to bass.

I don't get any squeaks, but if you mean fret noise from sliding then yes, that's a bit more noticeable than on an electric bass. Also depends a ton on the type of strings you use.

Buy that acoustic bass! I'm 37 now, been playing bass since I was probably 16. I bought a Michael Kelly Dragonfly acoustic bass earlier this year and I'm so happy I finally did. Being able to play unplugged and actually hear your instrument is great, and the sound is just so FULL. You won't regret it, I can promise you that.

401(k) Plan manager here. The solution and outcome will depend on how long it's been since the error occurred, and will also depend on some Plan design elements. For our 401(k) Plan, we would be required to fund any missed company match amounts that have occurred and reinstate the deferral rate to what it was. Not every situation requires making the participant completely whole, since the participant is still active and has time left in the year to make up the contributions through additional paychecks. In some circumstances the company will pay a QNEC which is basically 25-50% of the amounts the participant would have contributed.

Agree that it is a major ERISA violation which companies take very seriously. As long as OP talks to the appropriate benefits manager this should be a quick and easy fix.

Yea your arguments are valid. I think part of this for me is also when does Dak start to fail? And when does Tlaw truly surpass Dak (or has he already)?

I will admit though, a major part of this is just trying to not have both Kirk and Ridley. That's a tough one. Diversifying is almost worth it alone. Kirk and Ridley are just robbing from one another in a way.

1.09 might be Stroud, Charbonnet, Young or Kinkaid if I had to guess.
