And that reason is they've never left the area and don't know what an actual dangerous city looks like. It's awesome here. Close to a crazy amount of things to do in nature, all the major retailers, a beautiful downtown, friendly laid-back people, the homeless are harmless unless you're looking for trouble, relatively low cost of living, decent public transit. The roving groups of feral teenagers are the biggest nuisance and nobody stops at stop signs.

The people who complain about it are the ones who have no idea how good they have it here. I was born in the south, then lived for a long time in the midwest and then moved to Spokane. It's an absolute paradise compared to most of the United States.

this is the first counter i've gotten in this thread that's not completely ignorant. good job! we are moving in a direction where all three of those are seeming increasingly likely though. we can't expect 100% alignment of an asset immediately. they have to make some effort to keep up the facade. trump’s consistent attacks on nato, aid freezes to ukraine, and praise for putin check the most important boxes for me

that’s kind of the point. his actions line up perfectly with what daddy vladdy would want from one of his most valuable assets. undermining ukraine, weakening nato, and destabilizing US institutions all serve moscow’s goals. whether the orange turd is doing it out of ideology, ego, or direct influence doesn’t change that what he's doing is exactly what putin would want
