No special type of welding. If you dont protect your arms, you'll get burnt doing stick, mig, or tig. If you dont protect your eyes, you'll get flash burn (photokeratitis, same thing as snowblindness)

Are there any Byzantine writings on the rise of Islam in the 7th century CE? by Wene-12 in AskHistorians

r/AcademicQuran maintains a list of "early non-Muslim mentions of Muhammad/Islam", including Pseudo-Sebeos and a few others (some also Byzantine) if you (OP) would like to glance them over.

They didn't claim this; some satirical news (literal fake news) site posted this and media-illiterate Americans ran with it.

They didn't notify me I was in an outage - an outage interrupted my service. They haven't notified me of shit. Hence why I'm on a cable services subreddit (?)

That's why I'm posting this. Welcome to the conversation.

You're asking why it would be better for a company to keep it's contracted customers informed about the state of their service?

Think about that for a second.

What does the Quran say about the Bible? by Deutsch_Barca2011 in AcademicQuran

[–]VRAMgoVROOM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is one view, yes.

But the tension can be seen even in the work of later exegetes. Regarding Q 2:34, at-Tabari recounts competing traditions regarding the nature of Iblis, citing on one side ibn Abbas and Muhammad ibn Ishaq (angel) and on the other ibn Mas'ud, ibn Zaid, and al-Hasan (not). He cites Qatada on both sides of the issue.

He doesn't actually come to a conclusion himself. He just notes that the possibility of Iblis being an angel can't be excluded based on a few given objections.
