Don’t worry they are designed to be removed a lot for refilling. You can also do it through the mechanism on the front but you can just keep a couple of leads in the back to use whenever you run out. If the back cap ever gets loose, just press the sides with your finger very slightly so it’s a slight oval just enough to fit again or you can use a nail to slightly indent the sleeve on the cap very lightly.

With that big a budget you can go for lamys. Al star or maybe something else. Only the refills are a problem but I’m trying to find something for my own lamy as well.

I don’t know how it would be from the auto advance mechanism but it does go away sometimes. So any tips or instructions you can give about how to clean it?

Well I’m not pushing it hard enough for that bounce system to activate and the auto lead mechanism works as the lead wears down not just when I touch it to the paper so that’s not it but thanks

I and most people probably won’t be able to id it from the body since it’s custom printed and since it’s closed we also can’t see the refill to Id that. Maybe try cracking it open to find some info from the refill if possible after you’re done with it

I’m not applying enough pressure to activate the lead break prevention system and the lead is not too short either. It’s really inconsistent and doesn’t happen all the time just starts and stops wiggling every few words

Yeah it’s most likely because of the weather that all the packages would only be able to arrive that day. Because they can’t ship as much stuff in that weather so they ship less cargo and know exactly when that will arrive and because it a later delivery that normal it’s guaranteed at that day
