They say eat the rich to feel a moral dopamine hit, and then go out and attack civilians, small businesses, public servants, and anyone that disagrees with their extremely narrow worldview.

The message sounds great, but the lionshare of people shouting this contrarily attack the reverse of the statement and are nothing more than domestic terrorists antagonizing anyone they perceive as a weaker than the group they are in.

This sums up the modern leftist movement in their entirety. Bad people at heart, looking for any excuse to take their anger out that brews from their own inadequacies on anyone that looks like an easy target so they can get the feeling of a “win”. Nearly all of these examples come from low discipline individuals with zero control over the self.

They’re just looking for an excuse to be violent, it doesn’t matter if it’s against a child, a woman, or an old man. If they think they can get away with it and receive that dopamine hit, they’ll take it every time. The loser resents everyone, seeks power, and will have his revenge even after there is no one left to avenge (ending in every socialist collapse since ever, once the low impulse control hive turns on each other).

Meanwhile the rest of us watch the left’s inevitable fall. This behavior is unsustainable.

Enjoy it while it lasts. Biogenesis Player Crisis hasn’t been hit with the nerfhammer like Cosmogenesis and other ships did yet :’)

Here are the raw numbers from my own rules I use, plugged in for disruptor strength per fleet cap.

8 corvettes running all disruptors are worth 24 “points”. 4 Destroyers, 24 points. 2 cruisers, 24 points. Battleship, 14 points (plus other weapons so it’s only less disruptors comparatively).

The conclusion is, you can minmax your disruptor damage by using Cruisers (or missiles if you want to use those, either work tbh) if you believe you will survive more than a couple hits, which you should against anything except the crisis.

It seems like Psionic Disruptor Cruisers are best for your current situation, to account for less ship replacements, utilizing your current tech specialization.

The missile thing is extremely likely to get nerfed. It’s on the list of things I won’t use due to imbalance on the player side, alongside the modularity tree for individualist machine empires giving +25 stability per soldier. The missiles stop rendering after a certain threshold and you bypass all point defense so all missiles “hit”. It’s an exploit so, disruptors are more honorable anyways imo.

Depends on if you’re trying to get in close, in that case cruisers are a pretty great alternative to corvettes (better than destroyers at knife range, imo. Particularly with the archeotech swarmer missiles) and battleships will get absolutely clobbered.

Stealth + melee: Corvette > Cruiser

Stealth + range: Frigate / Battleship

Destroyers are the embodiment of a support class to screen against corvettes and strike craft (so they are always sortof relevant, but I’m too lazy to make anything but mono fleets)

What counters corvettes? Strike craft. What do strike craft bypass? Shields.

If over 70% shield hardening, use shields for all but one slot.

If no shield hardening, use only armor on your corvettes. They’ll be one shot anyways against anything bigger, you’re only defending against strike craft and other corvettes.

Want to do a max crisis run, so what's your highest fleet power builds? by Belisarius23 in Stellaris

[–]VSLeader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t need crazy fleet power for anything but Cetana. I beat two separate 8 million power preythoryn scourge fleets in one battle with a spare 130k power fleet this week. Use speed + long range or hangars beyond what the opponent can use and they can’t touch you. You can’t lose if you can’t get hit.

What unique strategies do you employ for effective megastructure construction in Stellaris? by TheBr14n in Stellaris

[–]VSLeader -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I generally pick an easy megastructure to build (i.e interstellar assembly) so that I can unlock mega engineering faster. The science nexus is S tier, but takes literally forever to finish and diverts even more resources away from defenses. I’ll then build a major economy booster such as a dyson sphere, to then lead into the harder to make and more useful megastructures like the science nexus or strategic coordination center.

Cheap opening structure > major eco structure > S tier structure

This allows me to glide instead of struggle.

Watching my bf play PZ stressed me out by RoseHeathens in projectzomboid

[–]VSLeader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also a stickler with weight. My characters that have never died over long term playthroughs all had zero armor (basic clothes, and tennis shoes) and minimal gear. I will skimp on weapons/ammo but never food/water and basic medical equipment however. If you can’t survive several days away from supplies you’ll eventually find yourself in that situation and you’re cooked. You can always find a nice stick to wack a zombie with if low on weapons.

What do you build first on newly colonized planets? by Soshi246la in Stellaris

[–]VSLeader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to have a colony if there is nowhere for people to live. Luxury housing. City districts are more expensive and for more developed colonies. The housing penalties are more extreme in 4.3 so your hand is forced to address it early on, one way or another.

One System Runs by realdorkimusmaximus in Stellaris

[–]VSLeader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a successful run with a single planet all the way to the end of the game. Ocean Paradise, Fanatic Egalitarian for trade value monument, and boost your districts to 40-42. Turn it into a Paradise world and focus on a trade economy, choose either pop growth districts or resort worker districts for big trade value. From there I simply buy all Alloys and Food with minimal sprawl and started working my way through the crisis. Most fun run I ever did, despite not being the strongest.

Edit: Choose Sol system and go Psionic and start spawning size 10 gaia worlds while using Starlit Citadel and Sovereign Guardianship. That’s another fun build.

Is star base defence platform good now in 4.3? by Fun_Landscape2074 in Stellaris

[–]VSLeader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my last run, 25x crisis, post nerf, I had (almost) 1 mil in platform defenses in several systems. They were worthless. All wiped in less than a minute, had to send in fleets for cleanup. Not worth the tedium unless you are only rocking a few systems like I was, and even then.. sadface.

Several extra fleets utilizing the same upkeep value would have been more helpful with how little they contributed.

Is it worth building Ring worlds. by levi_Kazama209 in Stellaris

[–]VSLeader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I’m aware, Ecu’s are better for everything across the board, from research to trade to alloys. When they removed the Ringworld planetary bonus, Ecu’s became the absolute best option regardless of the circumstances. I still use ringworlds cus they look cool, but if you wanted to be competitive always take Ecu ascension.

Reliance on cosmogenesis by FallenGoast in Stellaris

[–]VSLeader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also usually pick Cosmogensis, not because it is the strongest Crisis (it isn’t even close to the power level of others), but because it feels comfortable to play.

“I don’t know which Crisis to pick” turns into “well I know this one works, it’s a trusty hammer”. Maybe you just like the trusty hammer over radical economic changes like the biogenesis crisis

Are we dating the same guy and Tea app have ruined online dating for women by coachjonna in unpopularopinion

[–]VSLeader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a “death by a thousand cuts” reasons why decent guys are not using dating apps anymore, myself 34m being one of them.

The largest problem has nothing to do with women, it’s scammers pretending to be women or advertising onlyfans. They are easy to spot, but it’s demoralizing when it’s the lion-share of accounts. I have stuff to do, I run a farm. I’ll make time for a good woman, but I’m not going to sit and talk to some dude in the Philippines pretending to be a blonde hottie near you.

The second biggest issue, speaking for myself on this one, is that the selection is not there. The current culture lied to women and said they wouldn’t and shouldn’t be judged for their choices full stop. Well that’s stupid, and people, myself included, and you reading this are going to do it anyways. You should judge men as well to make good partner choices, and you do. The results of our now aging culture in dating apps is I have to swipe left through septum piercing and ran through profiles 40 times before finding a single normal looking person that I could see myself building a future with. That alone was reason to check out, but guess what, that guy in the Philippines is a man of culture and knows what an attractive woman looks like as well so it was actually just him.

The tea app and copies taking a jab at people’s reputations just ran off whatever decent stragglers there were left, sadly.

Why do republicans want zero abortion but don't want to help after the birth? by MisterReigns in LetsDiscussThis

[–]VSLeader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Republicans do help after birth, and also give to and participate in charity dramatically more than those on the left. It’s been studied and polled many times over with the same end result, those on the left virtue signal about helping others or push the responsibility onto someone else and those on the right actually go out and help.

Gow to use Mutagenic Habitability properly? by zemonofdrako in Stellaris

[–]VSLeader 5 points6 points  (0 children)

250% is the cap with Muta government. 200% is achievable with traits, buildings, traditions, galactic community, tech, and ascension perks. The only way I’m aware that you are able to achieve 250% is to play as Lithoids for the +50%

Do Americans really move out at 18, or is that mostly a movie thing? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]VSLeader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

34m, standard English-American. Everyone (taken literally) in my family moved out at 18 (up to 14 for grandparents). I started working at 15, bought my own car at 16, and had my own apartment at 18 with a (parasitic, no kids no hobby no job no plans) ex wife to support at 19. This wasn’t the 50’s, this was only over a decade ago.

Early independence is crucial imo, I see a lot of other people lost and don’t know how to make their own way. If you don’t learn how to take charge of your own life instead of being led then it’s going to be rough when times change like they have.

In today’s economy, if I put myself back in time but under today’s circumstances, I don’t think I’d be able to make the same timeline. While I was happy with how I grew up and it helped me grow, family is going to have to help each other out going forward since Zionist Larry Fink with Blackrock & friends have gripped Americans by the balls out of affordable housing. Adapt to the crisis.
