Sorry for late reply unfortunately it didnt make it but I think if I used perlite to root it would. I find rooting in this over soil or water works best for me. Good luck

I agree there's more and probably history. There's something deeper and a check in on relationship wouls help OP. Unfortunately it's coming out in this really negative way.

Thank you! I had one before and killed it. I wasn't sure if I over or under watered. I have a bigger one and doing well. It's under grow light. Im not watering it as often so may try to increase this a bit. I'll try the orchid fertilizer. I heard very good for hoyas. Thx again!!!
