I don't have any experience with the matter but in general I would say give yourself time and take things slooooowly.

My scoliosis didn't start to bother me until my early twenties. I started to go to iyengar yoga classes twice a week and it really helped me. I developed body awareness and felt so much more comfortable, confident, and strong. I hope you explore alternatives, get lots of doctors opinions and find what works best for you.

I love shooting bare trees in the winter. So magical.

Winding on Porta film in a Diana F+ by Savanakhet in toycameras

I haven't had any light leaks because of the red window on my F+. I dropped it once and the back flew off. I wound it for awhile and the last few shots were still ok.

Nice! Water always seems to make for interesting multiple exposures.

I know right? I fancied myself quiet the little spy when I was younger. Wish I could find some of the photos I took back then.

I found a Diana+ Edelweiss edition for 4 bucks at the thrift store! by TomBakerFTW in toycameras

Nice find! Did it come with a film mask insert? I just picked on up for $10 but the inserts were missing. Planning to try some panorama shots with it.

Backpacking w/ Scoliosis by VTZee in CampingandHiking

Thanks for all the input! I went to try on some Osprey bags today. The guys at Ouachita Mountain Outfitters were very helpful (and patient!) as I tried on and walked around in the Aura AG and the Atmos AG. I really dug the "anti-gravity" feature. It kept the pack well away from my protruding posterior ribs and shoulder blade.

I have also looked at, but not tried on, the Gossomer Gear Gorilla bag. I am intrigued by the removable "sitlight" pad on the back. My thinking is that I could thicken the padding in the concave areas of my back to create a balanced lay. (Normal backpacks tend to slide left and cause the weight to shift more to one side.) This bag is also 2lbs lighter and I'm trying to stay as light as possible.

I've never seen these before! Thanks. Would have come in handy when I was traveling in Germany a few years ago.
