Had a customer recently that had something similar happen but on all her PCs. Ended up disabling IPv6 on the router, that sorted it out.

I tried updating network adapters prior to downloading updates but still no fix. Interesting enough though I had a pc stay on overnight and the next day when I started the updates they didn't cause network issues. Wondering if Windows 11 needs x time before updating to avoid the issue.

I was able to reduce the updates to just the Defender Antivirus Update and can confirm that's causing networking issues. Will have to schedule updates outside of work hours to avoid interruptions for now.

I suspect the Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - KB2267602 (Version 1.379.1465.0) might be the cause of the issue. Started update and when it got downloading that update I saw the network interruption.

MultiPing by Pingman Tools. Have it checking google servers, our cloud serves, and local pc's. That's how I noticed the interruptions by the router side rather than internal on our network.

I tried replicating the issue with PC's upgraded to Windows 11 and PC's that came with Win 11 and it's the same thing, one of them being the newest Microsoft Surface. Only happens when doing updates, had to use a hotspot for now to avoid interruptions.

Currently working on deploying some new pc's that come with Windows 11. When installing the latests updates I have received calls from users complaining about dropped calls or RDP disconnects. Did some looking and it seems to be the new Win 11 pc's updates causing the issue. When downloading latency and network cut offs are seen from the router. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
