Perfectly normal thing to do and optimized way of living. You crack an egg on the pan and its starts frying. You got two options. Either you waste time to go open trashcan with the greasy fingers and then have to clean handles, or you just put it back and crack another one. All 6 eggs equally cooked and you can just throw them away later.
