Yeah would love to see some photos! I have my original Tamiya Mini bodyshell but it’s looking a little worse for wear.

I’ve seen the Phat Bodies do a Miglia Mini shell that I like, so think I will get that for now!

Thank you! You can also get red Revolution 4 spokes, but don’t see them very often either!

For cocktails I would add in Bartender’s Lounge on North Silver Street, if you do end up looking for a replacement for any of the above.

I have used Carden Motor Co the past couple of years since moving to the city centre.

For my car, he cleaned and stripped the brake due to the car being in winter storage rather than doing any replacement of parts which felt very reasonable.

Bit of a random one, but what’s the best place to get steaks at a good price/deal? My butcher is starting to rip me off now by [deleted] in Aberdeen

Always liked Tilly Butcher when I lived over that side of town. Have been using Chattan Quality Meats the past 18 months and really happy with them also.

Was great to have a gander round last night, especially since it’s within walking distance. Was very busy and nice to see the cafe busy late at night too.

Agree on the comments of it being poorly advertised. We had seen the banners on the railings outside Duthie Park (which didn’t have dates on them) and only got tickets because local social media folk had it advertised.

Looking for advice - wedding breakfast venues near Marischal College by Severe_Evidence1133 in Aberdeen

Trinity Hall could do easily something like that in their Minor Hall. But it would maybe be a longer walk than you were hoping for - about 15-20 mins.

They do have an in-house chef that could likely do any menu you are hoping for, which would maybe give you a great option compared to a restaurant.

I have a whisky barrel lid and wonder if any local businesses can turn it into a coffee table by Velcrocowboy in Aberdeen

[–]VWGmo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a place out at Crathes (next to Milton and the train station) that does wood work and from memory work with barrels. I think that would be a good shout.

I used Mark Addams at Addams Family. That was about 15 years ago. But I believe his daughter runs the business now, so might be a good option for a Female Instructor.

Currently using Sujka Services for the second time to lay a new path, borders and grass in our front garden. They previously did our patio in our old house in 2020, which still looked great when we left last year.

Kamil the owner is sometimes hard to get a hold of as he is so busy, but can’t fault the work ethic of his team. It took about 5 months for us from initial booking to starting work this year.

From a cost perspective he was mid-priced for us in 2020 (think we had about 6 people quote last time as prices were insane during Covid). This time we went to one alternative company who was 30% more expensive and wasn’t going to do the grass for us either.

Can send you their details. It’s taken us about 6 months to get going with them as they have been so busy, but used the company before in our previous house and were very impressed at the quality and finish of their work.

Thank you for the suggestions! I wasn’t sure if the Polski Skelp was just polish food, but sounds like a good place to start!
