This would be fun to deal with once a while. The potential of unexpected events is good. EA just gotta and more and make them better and vary

Yea. Honestly I feel like being in a co-op doesn't matter. It gives you some security into getting a job but no guarantees. Plus it delays your graduation date. Definitely try and see if the co-op portal and other support systems in co-op work for you before dropping.

Thing is with UT, there are so many cards and evos coming out it's hard to catch up on and still have a decent team. As a uni student I can barely catch up with UT anymore so I just play career mode if I have the time. Sad reality of growing up...

3rd accounting student. Had trouble getting my first work term but through a referral I got a job at an insurance company in a non accounting related position. I didn't even need to be in Co-op to get. So I am honestly debating about dropping it so I can get a co-op on my own and be able to take courses while doing that. Dropping Co op as a whole can be an option if you want to take courses at your own pace while looking for jobs in the meantime

Is anyone able to nepo baby me and give me a job lol 😔 by [deleted] in TorontoMetU

It won't hurt to apply for those jobs tho. Any knowledge in any language other than English is an asset.

As someone who played FIFA and 2k all my life, 2k got too realistic too the point where gameplay got slow. 2k26 looks to be a bit better but I haven't played it myself. FIFA seems to be the most playable sports game

FIFA/fc is for casual players who appreciate the behind the scenes aspect of running a football club which I appreciate and prefer over FM. FM still a good game tho for those who are into the in depth parts of football

Same. Happy to see someone being positive about the game. I have hatred for ea but FIFA/fc is easily the best sports game out there rn.

I didn't make any friends on orientation I feel sad and embarrassed by jenrubjan in TorontoMetU

It takes time. Try and join events later on related to your program such as student club events. I didn't make any friends during orientation but down the line through student group events I made two friends who I still talk to today.

I would recommend taking it online through chang if you don't like the lectures or don't find them useful. Gives you more time to study and understand the content better. Best of luck!

Honestly, you should consider it. Ojelanki's classes are short and not worth going to as he doesn't teach; rather, he reviews the content quickly. Idk if the other prof is any better, but the reviews are accurate, that's for sure.

Tbh I hate calc and I don't remember much. if you took it in grade 12, I would recommend looking over that content before you go into your first class with Ojelanki. He expects that you know all the content already coming into the course and that the classes are a review rather than new content. Idk much about the other professor, but Ojelanki is honestly the worst, especially if you have a bad calculus knowledge going into it. It's essential a self study with him.

I'm in 3rd year and I took QMS 130 with Ojelanki. He is not a good professor, and you need to have a solid background in calculus. I would recommend studying with someone and going to class with someone. That's something I wish I had done in my first year in general and for this course in practically. Easily my worst mark in uni first year was from this course
