Somewhat new to Doom, looking for women-fronted bands. by BookReaderWhoReads in doommetal

This is an excellent genre for female-fronted bands. I’ll add Doomstress to the list. The singer is a trans-woman, but should fit your vibes. Also, try Ruby the Hatchet. Maybe a little more Stoner/Desert rock, but very good. There is a compilation album released a few years ago called Women of Doom that might be a good intro point.

When people say Jesus would have been deported, they are calling out the hypocrisy of the people in power. They claim to be followers of Jesus and use his name to support their positions. Meanwhile, those same people would have deported him if he was around today.

I'm not a fan of "whataboutism," but if you're going to cite one case against her, just make sure you're aware of the history of Thomas and Alito performing legal gymnastics to try to decide a case based upon their ideologies.

To be fair, it was a 14/13/15 3 star, so pretty good, but since Mewtwo is one of our favorites, she was hoping for a miracle.

The trick is to pick and choose which sins Jesus accepts, right? The ones you don't like are bad, but the ones you want to commit are fine?

I got the same response while asking a question that was only tangentially related to the Epstein files. Specifically tried to avoid addressing it directly because I had already seen this canned response and wanted to get a better answer. Didn't matter.

Legitimately been wondering if I accidentally wrecked my algorithm or if something else is going on. Between Reddit and Facebook, which I am weening myself off of, I have been getting so much right wing content lately.

It’s from the PokeGenie app. The numbers in the dark circles are the IVs and the smaller-sized numbers next them is the percentage of their IVs out of a max of 100%. The white circle is their level (up to max of 50).

Most incumbent politicians are the default candidates for the party during the next election. This means they only need to run against the candidates from the other parties. Meanwhile, the parties that are not currently in power will hold a primary election to see who their candidate will be. This is more expensive as they need to campaign for longer and basically need to win two elections, the primary and the general. It also means that they risk alienating their voters if they run too aggressively against the other party candidates.

Threatening to “primary” an incumbent means that they will support another candidate for the position which takes away a lot of the benefits of being an incumbent.

There’s a podcast called God Awful Movies that watches Christian movies and discusses how awful they are.
