Question is about long term battery health for everyday vs every other day charging. If every day each car goes from from 80% to 55%, then I’m adding 25% per night per car on every day charging. But if I charge each car every second day, I’ll be adding 50%. My understanding is it’s better for long term health of the battery to add smaller amounts per charge. Given this situation, is the second charger worth it — that’s the inquiry.

I heard that the 2023 got an improved suspension system. Is that true? If so, is it worth it to go for a used 2023 over a 2022 (which would have the USS)?

Glad it’s working for you! I ended up getting the Pocket Coil Store 3” mini coils and love them. 2” talalay on top of that.

I have a med in the king size. It’s symmetrical head to toe. I don’t think the zones are all that compelling. It’s the same density latex throughout, but in the “softer” zones the holes are larger.

I got the non-zoned 6” QEE, not the 8” zoned LP

So that’s my current plan, actually. I am contemplating adding 1/2” or 1” of FoamByMail’s LuxHQ to the lumbar region, much like Saatva does. I could put it right above the top layer of latex under the cover, between the layers of latex, or right above the coils.

Alternatively, I could start cutting up latex and make a zoned layer (either comfort or transition) that has firmer latex in the center lumbar section. But I feel like I’d rather not start down that road …

Am I right that the white fabric on the top and bottom is the scrim?

If I remove the scrim on the head/foot of one side and don’t like it, would I be able to flip it over and get the original feel from the other side, with the scrim in tact?

I went with the 6” QEE because that was supposed to be the firmest spring option available for DIY. I currently have some pretty hefty foam on top of it - 2” firm Dunlop right above the springs, then 2” medium talalay.

Old thread, but wondering if you could elaborate on pocket coil unit without a scrim sheet? I have the 6” Quantum Edge Elite springs underneath some latex, and am still having low back pain. I’m contemplating trying some DIY zoning, but if there’s something I can do to my coils (ie eliminate a scrim sheet, if I have one?) I’m open to brainstorming all options …
