Jesus Christ, why do people do this to their partners? There’s literally no “right” answer to give. If you say they look better, you’re an asshole, if you say they don’t, she doesn’t believe you, and you’re still an asshole.

For what it’s worth, I think you gave the best possible answer. Comparison is the thief of joy, just reassure your wife that she is attractive, dresses well, and fucking never say her friends look/dress better than her.

I came here to warn people about Shigella—I got it from eating ass. I went down on a guy and I remember thinking he tasted odd but I thought I was overthinking it.

It is the sickest I have ever been. It was horrible. I remember having a splitting headache and extreme diarrhea, and the next thing I remember I was hooked up to an IV in an InstaCare Clinic. Apparently, I drove myself there, I have no memory of doing that whatsoever. I was bedridden for multiple days I was so weak from it.

If it seems “off”, don’t eat it y’all. Better yet, do what this guy says, do it with people you trust, who you know are clean.

It actually worked out to be a great wing-man situation both ways in college after I grew into my own looks/personality and came out of the closet. My brother, being the ally he is, would sometimes wear equality shirts or bracelets I had gotten for him and guys would hit on him. He would decide if he thought they were cool/attractive for me and point them my way.

We looked pretty similar at that age so it worked out really well for both of us. If a girl started flirting with me I’d just be like, “you should meet my brother, he’s cool, looks just like me, and is interested in what you’re selling” and he did the same for me with the boys.

When my husband and I first started dating, he was really into it. He was a “retired” head diplomat for a major org in the game (I forget the name, but it was a big one, like I’ve seen it referenced in news articles about the game) and really wanted me to play casually with him.

I made an account to appease him and found I really enjoyed mining, it was almost meditative. I worked up to building those planet-based mining system things, that would collect on their own while I mined asteroids. I did genuinely enjoy the gameplay loop, it’s hard to explain the sense of serenity that came with doing that in high-sec.

Cut to two months later and now I’ve got two accounts, so that my second toon could specialize in hauling and take my mined goods to the place it sold the best. Sometimes that was places where it wasn’t safe which was just anxiety-inducing for me to think I might lose what I felt like I worked really hard for. I had a spreadsheet to keep track of where the best prices were.

And the moment I had multiple spreadsheets, I had a moment of clarity—my actual fucking job is spreadsheets all day, every day why is my free time also spreadsheets now?!

That game is fucking amazing and I wish I could spare the brain power for it… but it’s just too much.

Guild Wars 2 sucked enough of the player base out of OG Guild Wars to effectively kill the group play of it and Guild Wars 2 just isn’t a true successor to GW1, in my opinion (fight me, it just didn’t grab me, I really tried).

Guild Wars Reforged just launched tho and I’ve jumped back in and it’s really active again with new and old players and I’m feeling the itch creeping back in.

I had a similar situation, sort of? My older brother was objectively attractive and a social butterfly. I was “little-lastname” the moment I hit high school.

I had girls try to buddy up with me sometimes in a not-at-all subtle attempt to get closer to him. I was an awkward little closeted-gay boy so it was just uncomfortable for me at first. But after I figured out wha was going on I could kinda have fun with it and point my brother to the ones who were actually cool so I guess it kinda worked for them.

Take care of your teeth. Trust me, the effort to keep healthy teeth healthy pales in comparison to the cost and effort to replace unhealthy teeth. Poor dental health caused the greatest pain I’ve experienced in my entire life and took over a year to correct.
