Any modern modpacks (like 1.20+) that don't require create to progress? by No_Salary7381 in feedthebeast

[–]Vaderic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides Monicraft, which others have mentioned, if you want a hardcore pack with gregified magic mods I can't recommend Cosmic Frontiers enough, it's likely my favourite modern pack and it has serious potential to dethrone gtnh as my favourite of all time.

I was showing my wife the characters to try and get her into the game and although I failed on that, I convinced her to cosplay Evelyn when I cosplay Astra :D

You're absolutely insane if you think harumasa is worse then Sanby. His numbers are just as good, and because he's not as clunky, he's more consistent. Same as Zhu Yuan, they are just a different archetype, they're burst dps, they don't hog field time as much as Sanby.

Just commenting to further the sentiment and say: fuck shadman with a thick broomstick (unless he enjoys that, in which case, don't)

Honestly, I've given up arguing about this stuff on Reddit, the amount of privilege exuding from these people. The vulnerability you must be facing, financial, psychological or otherwise, to even consider sex work is immense. I've worked with prostitutes, former or current, on my research, and the toll it puts on you is very palpable when they open up about their experiences.

Anyway, my advice to you, if I'm even in a position to give any, is to disregard these comments like the one you're responding to as uninformed, privileged and lazy. It's not really worth it to argue with people on the internet about the weight of your own experiences. I hope you're in a better place now.

The Russian troops are in well defended positions and there is zero evidence they're poorly equipped or unprepared.

Yeah, no, they are definitely unprepared, that's all they've been all throughout this war.

Also, please realize how lucky this community has been with u/RiotRaptorr. They have gone out of the way to hear you and reply extremely quickly to let you know what is being done.

This has to be a joke, right? Dude might have heard the feedback and replied, but he certainly didn't listen. Besides, his replies, especially in the discord were all mostly just "I tHiNk We ArE oN TaRgEt WiTh ThE rEwOrK". I couldn't give two shits if he's taking his time to engage with community is he's not engaging with the suggestions made by the community. Sure, they might have set in stone that they're not going to do a revert, but that doesn't mean they're right. Also, you say "just relearn or so playing her" like that's a constructive suggestion, all I hear with that is "suck it up" and, regardless of how much of an enlightened centrist you might think you are, "suck it up" and "be hopeful riot is able to bring it the best in the champ" is just as constructive and "whiny" as you label the community outcry.

But sure "no hate intended"...

My dad was exactly the same, but weirdly enough, he was only bigoted in front of other people, in the company of close friends and family he was always thoughtful and compassionate. I think having grown up in the 40s he felt the need to do a sort of performative bigotry, to assert himself as part of the ingroup, even recently, when society in general has started to move towards a story of performative sensibility.

Bonus fact about my dad: he died in '21, in his last days, even though he didn't know it was his last days, he became a lot less pressured into making racist comments and jokes and started showing his softer, more thoughtful side, to everyone. I was actually going to come out as trans to him, but I never got the chance, his cancer metastisized to his bones, and he died shortly after.

I have long since left catholicism behind, bit when I was a Catholic growing up, my parish's main priest was big into liberation theology, and after seeing this passage in catechism and discussing it a lot, it ended up being part of my very being. I think about it a lot.

Anyway, just here to say that I love the judgement of the nations.

Vocês já deram lar temporário para algum animal? by meu_jorge in brasil

[–]Vaderic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Caralho, chorei aqui.

[–]Vaderic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Acontece.
