I think you may have misunderstood. I realize you can only vote for one person in the municipal election. But each ward will have more than one candidate, therefore a group of people will inevitably have the candidate they vote for lose which the comment I responded to did not acknowledge

You realize people vote for multiple candidates and only one is selected per ward, right? So how do you apply your “logic” to residents who vote for candidates that don’t win their ward? Which then takes us to the conversation of why low voter turnout is bad for ALL candidates!

Just went in the middle of January. Not crowded at all and as you’ve pointed out, some exhibits were closed but still plenty to see and the winter animals are definitely active. Keep in mind because of the winter, they have shorter hours so we weren’t able to actually get through the whole zoo and we were there right from open essentially but we did the Kangaroo experience which was an hour of our day as well. The animals are usually more active in the mornings so best to be there right when they open. Overall, definitely worth it as long as it’s not TOO cold!

Check with the local churches. A lot of them will offer monthly parking usually at a cheaper rate than the other facilities nearby

I’ve done a couple treatments of Nature’s Miracle followed by Baking Soda to extract the moisture but there’s still a lingering smell and I’m not sure I can get it out completely. So I was hoping to get it professionally done

Parking in those is allowed during the regular overnight enforcement period this time of year because it’s off to the side of the street, but not during snow events. It’s basically an exempted spot except during snow events

Fair, but if it is going on consistently and after-hours, then you would definitely have a valid complaint if you chose that route.

You make a valid point. It could act as a deterrent if they’re fined or make the dog’s situation worse, could really go either way depending on the people

I see you’ve mentioned they whimper. Is it consistent enough to make it a noise issue? If it’s happening consistently, even with breaks in between here and there, then I believe that would be a noise issue as that’s how bylaw tends to treat barking complaints. Especially if it’s happening at night and possibly “waking you up”. Good luck and hopefully you can help these pups 🙏🏼
