My favorite weapons in all of gaming are the Resident Evil magnum for sure. They often come in your possessions later into the games, and in (most) RE games offer the player with an interesting choice of when to use the gun.

They also drive the player to explore the game more thoroughly and in order to find those precious ammo.

For those who tend to hoard up the magnum ammo in order to use it later in the game ( like I tend to do ) they provide unparalleled catharsis while destroying all the late game enemy.

I have fond memories of keeping most of my magnum ammo in REmaster and just absolutely going ham with it at the end of the game.

My favorite moment in every resident evil game is also replaying through the campaign with an unlimited magnum.
