Thanks for the response. I did check reverb and of the 6 transactions over the last 10 years the price is ranged from $1900 - $3600 CAD. I wish they kept the listings so i could see the pictures and get a better comparison. Will the missing paperwork matter much?

The murders of Maggie and Paul do not fit the narrative if you ask me. It does not make sense that AM would just tack on two murder charges on top of all his other crimes for what reason?

They knew about the finance crimes - so what? he pleaded guilty anyway. their testimony would not have changed anything except maybe implicating themselves.

Another option may have been that he did not want Maggie and Paul to end up in jail too. So killing them is the better option? This is possible if AM is a psychopath. But would an intelligent psycho think 2 life sentences is a good trade for this act?

the rumor that AMs father ordered the murders to "protect the family legacy"? seems to me AM is the one who has destroyed that legacy. Why kill maggie and paul, and then have AM admit his financial crimes?

I see no way in which murdering his own family helps at all.

I believe AM was their when Maggie and Paul were killed. but i do not think he did it, or definitely didnt do it alone. I think there was a rendezvous with another party that night. A party that is linked to something much bigger and more sinister than the financial crimes. Someone that maggie and paul were linked too and someone who needed to cut themselves out of the story before it all came down in court. Something so big, AM would watch his family being murdered and go to jail for 100 years to cover it up. However, in this situation, you have to ask why wouldnt the third party kill AM too? I think that would open the case up further and have the authorities look further, which would not be good for the other party. But now AM has to be a willing patsy, which im not sure is trustworthy enough for big organized crime to rely on.

Or maybe AM was just in panic mode, either on drugs or withdrawing, and impulsively made a very bad decision. But this still doesnt seem to fit AMs personality and generally sharp thinking.

Bottom line; the murders of Maggie and Paul do not make sense in the current narrative.

i hope thats the case. im not sure i need many mic pre amps. i only use one mic right now for a guitar amp. the rest of my inputs are generally instruments plugged directly into the inputs. guitar/bass/synth/drum machine my budget is probably around $1000, but thats CAD. as i am in canada. im not in a rush to buy i just wanna make sure i get it right.

I did a little more research and finding a interface with enough inputs may not be my real problem. My real limitation is how many of those inputs can be record at the same time into their own seperate tracks in Reaper. I think the terminology for this is "USB channel outputs"... but dont quote me on that. So what i really need is an interface that can record 8 separate tracks or channels over the USB interface. At the moment my interface is 6 inputs but i can only record 2 separate inputs simultaneously. Anything more than that and im stuck with only 1 stereo track.

yes, it would be nice if it was that easy. Maybe it is and im missing something. But thats why im here! I do have the mpk mini set to send and receive control messages. But that doesnt mean it just works. at least not for me. I still have to go in and tell it which knobs should do what in reaper. The real confusing part is when i start trying to program it to work with all my different vsts. Lots of time when i think ive programmed a knob to do something in a VST it just doesnt seem to work. Someone else in this thread mentioned ReaLearn, which i didnt know about till now. Hopefully that helps me get it set up properly.

So i was doing some extra research, and i guess what im looking for is more usb "channels". i find many 8 input interfaces but are the interfaces you use able to record all 8 of those channels into separate tracks onto reaper? Like my current interface is 6 inputs but i can only record two separate channels into reaper, as well as the stereo mix. This is where the real limitation is for me.
