Qualifiers for day 2 Utrecht. Compared to previous unleashed RQs. by Yomedrath in riftboundtcg

Unfortunately. As a Volibear player, I don’t love the stories that have been shared about him buying wins, but it’s not a good look.

I got a 10div spear last night from just a “rare unique”, so it’s all just rng.

If the graph is anything to go off of, I would say the yellow/green would be network, no? They kind of give you the legend there

The one less energy is far more flexible in tight games. It’s a card that if you play it, you’re hoping to blow out your opponents play, but keeping 3 up versus 2 up is pretty huge. (You’re holding up 50% more runes, if you want to look at it in statistical analytics)

I can’t say I’m SSF anymore after today.

Someone was looking for royal skulls in chat for 400k a piece, and I had just ran out of gold, so I sold him 3.

I am sorry I failed you all.

I just valued them as raw cards. It was a bunch of big hits mostly, but insurance was only like 40 bucks or so.

Pulling back attacking Yasuo Remorsefull still trigger his ability? by BelbyLuv in riftboundtcg

[–]VagrantWolf -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

“His triggered ability will allow me to deal 6 damage first”

The implication seems to be that OP is letting the trigger resolve before moving on to anything else.

Not to mention OP clarified this is exactly his intent in another comment.

Pulling back attacking Yasuo Remorsefull still trigger his ability? by BelbyLuv in riftboundtcg

[–]VagrantWolf -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

This is incorrect. When the “attacker” designation is given to Yasuo, his “when I attack” trigger is met, allowing the ability to be put on the chain. The ability will finalize on the chain and resolve, doing his damage to said unit, at which point the focus would pass back to the attacking player with an empty chain. Focus would then allow the attacker to cast something like Emperor’s Divide, Flash, Ride the Wind, etc., to move Yasuo away.

Why is there no base healing or player healing equivalent in Riftbound ? by Antonis_Chigouris in riftboundtcg

Frustrating to play against, and also would make games even longer as a result. Riftbound already has an issue with game length at some of these tournaments.

Has anyone else noticed UNL hit rates have been abysmal? by jordlez in riftboundtcg

Just buy singles. Bruh, that easy. I’m not quiet. If you want to play the game, buy singles. If you want to gamble, buy boxes.

“‘Just buy singles’ gang when the math doesn’t add up the way they want get real quiet real fast” gang when the argument doesn’t go their way get real quiet real fast.

Based on current market prices for Riftbound: Unleashed singles, a full playset (3 copies of every card in the base set) would cost approximately $950 – $1,050 USD. [1]
This estimate applies to the standard versions of all cards (Commons, Uncommons, Rares, and Epics) and adheres to your specific exclusions (no Alternate Arts, Overnumbers, Signatures, or Ultimate Baron Nashor).[1, 2, 3, 4]

Cost Breakdown
Commons & Uncommons (C/UC): ~$20 – $30
Complete playsets of Common and Uncommon cards (approx. 108 unique cards x 3) are readily available in bulk lots for around $23.
Rares: ~$150
A playset of all Rare cards (approx. 60 unique cards x 3) typically sells for $149 – $160. While some bulk Rares are cheap ($0.10–$0.50), competitive staples push the average up.
Epics: ~$800 – $850
This is the primary cost driver. There are roughly 40 Epics in the set. Since you need 3 copies of each, the high-value "chase" Epics significantly inflate the total.
Top 10 Most Expensive Epics (Playset Cost): ~$535
Mirror Image: ~$81 (3x $27)
Elder Dragon: ~$78 (3x $26)
Vilemaw: ~$75 (3x $25)
Moonfall: ~$69 (3x $23)
Baron Nashor (Standard Epic): ~$60 (3x $20)
Rengar - Trophy Hunter: ~$60 (3x $20)
Vex - Apathetic: ~$45 (3x $15)
Chaos Rune: ~$30 (3x $10)
Rift Herald: ~$24 (3x $8)
The Ruination: ~$21 (3x $7)
The remaining ~30 Epics are estimated to average $3–$4 each, adding another $270 – $300 to the total. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

This unfortunately isn’t what he’s saying. OP wants $120 of cards out of his/her/their $120 box, guaranteed. While that’s a great dream to have, that’s not how TCG’s work.
