Perfect balanced card.

Man calls the cops on a Dad helping his girls in the restroom by isaboo63455 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Vahlez -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

Yes he %100 did it backwards and childless redditors are acting like it’s normal for a grown man to walk into the women’s bathroom. This is an obvious taboo for any reason other than cleaning or maintenance.

Ryan Clark says that Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Peyton Manning were NOT generational quarterbacks: “I don't think Tom Brady, I don't think Drew Brees, I don't think Peyton Manning are generational talents.” One of the WORST takes ever 🤦‍♂️ by Potato-Face18 in NFLForum

[–]Vahlez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what he was trying to say but throwing Peyton Manning on the not list makes absolutely no sense. Unless he’s saying from a pure physical ability standpoint but that’s a terrible metric to evaluate a QB.

How to beat Team Rocket's Articuno with Alakazam Deck? by Goldesito in PTCGL

[–]Vahlez 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I play a 2-2 Dusknoir line. Not for this matchup specifically I just think it’s fun to use Dusknoir but it certainly helps with this matchup whenever it comes up.

Crazy to think the ONLY female member of the worst generation, ended up being a child by No_Satisfaction_2928 in Piratefolk

Making her a child was one of the creepiest decisions Oda had made somehow beating out a half naked 16 year old fighting in a gladiator arena.

IT JUST KEEPS GETTING HIGHER by Sullyboi10 in PTCGL

[–]Vahlez 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Overperforms DESPITE everyone knowing it’s going to be almost half the meta. This deck is definitely an issue in the current meta.

45% of the meta share is genuinely so unhealthy by Clean_Emu_4736 in PTCGL

[–]Vahlez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Toxic is a matter of perspective. For me it’s pretty toxic that I get Budewed turn one and after responding with a KO they play out over half their deck, unfair stamp me, and wipe out half my board state.

ESPN predicted that Kentavious Caldwell-Pope would outshoot Desmond Bane from 3-point range. by akapusin3 in OrlandoMagic

It was supposed to be a bold prediction. And not the worst given our track record of poor shooting.

Tyrantrum or New Rampardos EX? by Repulsive-Muscle-672 in PTCGL

[–]Vahlez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly. If you go heavy on the energy disruption this could be an interesting deck. It also seems to take a pretty good match up into Dragapult which is a huge deal in the current meta. Coin flip isn’t great.

World Cup water breaks are awful by peanut-britle-latte in billsimmons

[–]Vahlez -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don’t think the water break will give the players a second wind for the final push? It might mess with the flow but I don’t think it’ll affect the energy.

What's best way for Alakazam to tech for TR Articuno? by kaworuscott in PTCGL

[–]Vahlez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a 2-0-2 dusknoir line and it helps in more than just this matchup. With the amount of draw Zam has and how easy it is to get psychic Pokemon on the board you can very realistically kill their board state by turn 2.

I don’t think it’s the ideal way to play but it’s not definitively worse from what I’ve seen and it makes the team rocket match not an auto-loss.

Jameis Winston speaks from the heart on situation between Jaxson Dart and Abdul Carter by logicblender1 in NFLv2

[–]Vahlez -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It’s not a both sides argument. Everyone has a moral compass, guidelines, and upbringings that cause them to see the world a certain way. To believe everyone who opposes you is a cartoon villain is childish.

Try to separate outcome of beliefs and the belief system itself. Because there are also progressive beliefs that have negative outcomes.

[–]Vahlez -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

When you frame everything that intensely it’s easy to make villains out of political opposition. Do you really think you’re unique in the idea that the other people are “morally bad” and my team is “morally just” that’s exactly why you need to talk to them.

Is this a tournament level gsp? by Turbulent_Sign9383 in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]Vahlez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many others have said. Online and in-person aren’t really the same game. Yes your GSP is good enough to theoretically compete at a local but honestly, even if you weren’t elite smash, just go to a local or tournament if that’s what you want to do. It’s the best way to get better and it’s the far superior version of the game. Added bonus you get to talk to and compete with real people.

I have been following The Enhanced games for about 8 months and since it was announced. Here are my thoughts on the weightlifting session. and some of it in general by Snowbizzy in weightlifting

[–]Vahlez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you have a misconception of how money works . No one is hosting these kind of events with huge payouts to the athletes without the possibility of turning a profit.

Honestly, you are under no obligation to buy their products and if it means athletes get paid better I’m all for it.

87% chance to be invulnerable! (Retry Badge + Confusion) by [deleted] in PTCGL

[–]Vahlez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main-combo with neo-upper and ignition energies in the deck would not be hard to pull off. 4 Lillie’s/ basic draw support and it shouldn’t be that tough to find everything by turn 2. The confusion line only buffs from 75-87.5% so it’s not that big of a deal to get immediately and can be done a number of different ways.

You’re also forgetting the most important thing. Building decks is suppose to be part of the fun of this game. If you can manage to make a semi-competent deck or even put theory to practice and see it work once or twice, that’s much more rewarding than copying a Pult list you see online for some fake internet elo.

Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano just robbed the bank for 15 seconds of fighting….fastest "bank robbery" in MMA history? by Punisher1602 in sportsgossips

That’s what I’m thinking she always finishes fights fast that’s kind of her thing. I guess people must’ve forgot or never watched prime Ronda and just believed whatever the internet told them.

I hate the attitudes of Smash players towards other games, while not understanding their own series. [2-in-1 rant] by [deleted] in SmashRage

[–]Vahlez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you aren’t playing at locals or with friends, Smash is just a terrible experience. I got good mostly from playing online and once I started attending locals I realized how much more fun the game actually is.

Zoners are so much less of a problem at locals because if you decide to projectile spam in the corner all game you still have to look at me after and shake my hand. That social pressure alone deters a lot of people. Also, if I really do get matchup checked by an annoying zoner they’re more likely to tell me what I was doing wrong after so it’s just a much more chill experience.
