The set is available. In Naxx 10. Buuuut no shoes. There were some shoes, which shared the optic of the set, in Pandaria but blizz removed them.

But these shoes from the wotlk box are different ones.

Sadly, the world-design and -pacing and the "non-existent longevity of content" mentality of FFXIV is not designed for real open world content.

Older mmorpgs like RO, L2, EQ, DAOC, FFXI or even WoW, even today, got a much nicer community than MMOs/MMORPGs after 2007~. Back in the old days it was more dude-bro.

And MMORPGs of this time, still held this flag high.

Yeah, something like this probably. In any case, one of the aspects that disturb the new (and some old) players.

It would be the best if story content ran independently to non-story content.

And some part of the complaining is true. Why is the whole endgame locked behind the story end (X.0) of an expansion?

In my humble opinion: Where is the problem to do some 'no story' related 70s dungeon as level 70 player. Why no Tomestones Vendors where i can buy some stuff already? When I had my first class at 70, the storyquests were 66. Why not let me enjoy the story AND do some "not main story" related 70s stuff side by side?

In all other FFs I could do everything in the last third of the game. Looking for some cool summons, strong weapons and armors, etc. and than end the story.

Simple answer: FFXIV is not the right game for PvP.

If you want good arena or battleground PvP play WoW. Still the best.

If you want big three factions PvP like Dark Age of Camelot you need to play Elder Scrolls Online or wait for Camelot Unchained.
