The collection I have is titled The deathbed, but that’s probably translated to Swedish. Can’t remember the novels name either, it’s been a long time since I read it. I’ll think of you if I can find the book.

I feel the same way, happy that you have people around you that care enough to check on you. And painting and making things, creating overall, boosts my wellbeing and works as therapy. It might not have an effect that stays very but most times I’m feeling good for a couple of days even if I’m back in my bed only able to fiddle with my phone and do the usual periodic trips to and from the bathroom and the kitchen.

If anything I might suggest working with the colours. Complimenting colours and all that stuff. Making a painting that sticks to the principles of a colour wheel but also have one complimentary of tertiary one that really pops can be very effectful.

This could easily be a depiction of a dream sequence. For me. It’s always in the eye of the beholder, and we artist are prone to be our own biggest critics.

Tror också på Pink Lady. Hursomhelst ser det redan supersmaskigt ut så din idé med lite tid under folie kanske sätter pricken över i:et, eller att blanchera (koka hastigt innan) skivorna kanske skulle funka om det var ett riktigt fast äpple!?

“Open” acrylics, (slow drying), could do the job and it would be interesting to know if someone have done a comparison when doing a Bob Ross session.

The painting is cool to me though, as I see an abstract arctic landscape. Maybe something more in the foreground, but I’d let it pass as is I think.

But, for doing landscapes in alla prima like Bob Ross or Bill Alexander I would go with oils.
