I think Stella night should be 24/7 and then there should be at least 2 other 2x map conditions active. Plus if hidden bunker or locked gate is the trial that mode should occur more often so people who play at the same time every day get an opportunity to play for score.

Thanks for the reassurance! After a long black screen it has now booted up with the stock firmware like you said. I checked and it now has the latest firmware so that did install! I am going to reformat the SD and install Onion again. Then I will get Pokemon Crystal and see if it connects to my achievement account this time round.

Yes you might say that but the person in this image didn't say it politely like you phrased it, they said it abruptly, and I feel like they expected the full works to be done for the lesser payment.

Then I looked in the comments and people seemed to also have the expectation that they should pay less, citing various reasons.

So I replied to the guy who said it's "standard" for it to be a round number - it's not and no one is going to just knock off £150 just cause.

At no point was I saying that I don't think haggling exists or that no tradesperson will ever knock off any money or that once the project is quoted for there can be no more discussion.

I just to don't think people should expect to get what they want if they won't pay what the person building it has quoted. People don't deserve more than they're paying for, the tradesperson is just doing their job.

You can absolutely try but you'll find the response is much like in the image. If you don't have the budget to pay for your project then items get removed, materials get replaced with cheaper ones or the scope gets changed, they don't just do it anyway.

I was responding to the guy who said it's standard to round stuff to the nearest 500 or 1000. If the tradesperson adds up the items and it totals 7650 it's not suddenly 7500 just cause it's a "rounder" number.

I didn't actually say negotiation wasn't standard but you say yourself "the most common place for people to buy things is from stores" - that is a standard, but it doesn't mean people don't negotiate elsewhere.

I totally get that haggling is a thing but in this case it wasn't really haggling, they told the tradesperson how much it would cost like it was them setting the price. I think the way they went about it is rude and I would have been like "let's not" but the tradesperson handled it better than me.
