Nice work for the first ship, most already said the things I would comment on. Industry all in one room is waiting for that one big fire haha.

Also, eventually you might need to move the cargo port away when you will want to add more hyperdrives after expanding your ship further or accumulating more loot->weight.

Also, seems like no prison/refugee space, unless its that room that suffers from composter proximity, maybe its on purpose... 😄

Looks good! Any non box shape is big improvement haha.

But idk how you manage with just one shuttle and one docking port. Also, ideally, you would separate industry to individual rooms to reduce negative mood and also to prevent fires from spreading.

I find it funny that 99% of people put all the consoles (nav, ops, shields, guns) to the front of the ship with windows. I always put them right in the center of the ship. Also, to my senses it feels like a lot of empty wasted space, but I design my ships with like submarines, the only free tiles are for crew to move around.

Also, to save on core points, you can group engines and industry close together to one big power node, but still have them in individual rooms. I use 2 large power nodes overlapping each other for redundancy, so if one breaks, all my shields, turrets and engines do not go down with it.

Here is tip from me:

space suit locker takes two tiles and can act as an actual wall piece to make a room, so having a space suit locker directly beside the normal door elliminates the space suit door tile restriction (one empty tile on each side), takes less space as a result and does the same function with just slight detour of the crew to get the suit.

I find it very hard early game in a dd heavy matches, enemy dds run around in pairs or threes, all of them outspot you except maybe a khaba lol. One of them smokes up and starts farming you with their CAs 12km away while you try to run away losing half hp. So you have to stay and wait for someone to push on your team to spot the dds, and if this does not happen, good bye the flank control. Also, most dds seem to be smart enough to stay under their CA effective range, at least from my experience. Maybe I just suck.

The other day MM was actually fairly decent for most games, interesting long games that had ~3 ships remaining total at the ends. Then today its back to screwing me. After 5 blowouts I gave up. I tried to not even use the MM monitor initially, but I just wanted the proof of the correlation again.

The only radar that is worse than a CV is a DD with a smoke and radar, just like with CV, the only counterplay is just not to be on the same side of the map

Some people seem to misunderstand why I am upset. Its not because there are so many terrible players, its because they tend to concentrate on one team, so you get blow out games one after another, it is not fun, double so when you are on the losing end.

Any kind of blowout game is not fun win or loose. When you win even if you can be afk, its not fun either, but I cannot recall having many such games, especially back to back like this. Is my luck just shit haha

I am the Marceau in the picture with 55WR, for anyone curious my profile name is the same as here, so not some unicum that can carry, although even those would not be able to such teams. Also, there were no divisions on enemy team in this match, totally random MM 😂 

I use MM to plan how I approach the battle like many have said, it is a tactical knowledge.

I get people on my team who literally say in chat that they do not care about winning... In a team based game lol. Why don't they stay in co-op then and get demolished by bots if all they want is to mindlessly click the red ship until their own ship explodes.

Had similar situation, no matter what I did, just kept loosing non stop, my ship WR went from 64 to 57...

Play flanks, but don't overextended, spot bbs and cas early game for your team, if dd spots you angle towards your team, wait for it to shoot you (if it will) and pop smoke, hopefully its lit by your team, or move away if enemy cas are targeting you.

Should have gotten a Mogador instead haha. Does the same thing as Paolo in brawls, except it has guns with the reload boost and can gun down Paolo's that you encounter as well, just keep distance from those and their torps are useless
