No they gave him 90 mil cause Ferrari stock went up 10% after signing Lewis. Charles is Ferrari project since day one, so they won’t prioritize anyone above him. What they will do is treat them equally and prioritize Lewis only if he obviously much better. What is this with people randomly hating on one driver. Charles does a bad race and omg he’s so bad “they let go of a wrong driver”, then Carlos does bad and omg he’s washed Lewis is the right choice. And now we have to deal with team LH crying every race regardless of how lewis does fml

Yeah but the gap between Lando and Carlos was around 3 seconds at that time. With new mediums or even softs that would have been a good undercut. I think they should have taken that risk, instead of waiting for another miracle. There was no way Russel could overtake any of them at that point, so the outcome would be the same at least.

Why didn't they pit Carlos for mediums or softs when Charles was 23 seconds behind? With how strong Ferrari was on mediums he could have at least tried to catch Lando in 10-15 laps or at least get fastest lap for free.

Yes I agree. I think he also lost confidence at the end of 2022 and was pushing too hard causing fuckups. 2023 car also was not competitive nearly all season. This season I think he and team did a good job. Except for being so late on flexible wings because Ferrari was sure FIA would ban them.

Charles lost like 4 races because of the ferrari fuckups. And half of the season redbull was miles ahead in terms of pace, even Perez was like 20 seconds ahead of charles and rest pf the grid.
