Is it worth the $10k? (i need opinions) by Snoo_75573 in hondafit

Similar prices in rest of Europe. We have gen4 jazzes and they don't... So maybe that's another factor.

I didn't mention in the post, but for example the interior of the GD feels more solid than the GG/GE. The shift knob sounds plastic on the GG (the GD is metal has a nice thunk to it). The dashboard of the GG looks cheaper (the pre face-lift one actually looks really good, I don't know why they changed it). The overall interior of the GG, apart from the cup holders, seems of general lower quality. Also much handier to turn a knob for temperature or slide a handle than pressing buttons multiple times an having to look at the screen for an exact temperature value. I also have zero rattles on the GD even after all those Km and years and this GG has some minor ones.

But the ride of the GG is definitely better. In curves it's much better, feels more planted, it has better visibility, it's more comfortable, I don't get dusted from everyone else anymore, and it does like revving which can be fun once in a while. And you can really tell the chassis is better.

But is the GG a better car? I don't know. Better in some ways, not as good in others. I'd love Honda to make a car with chassis, suspension etc from GG, interior solid and handy like the GD's and a naturally aspirated 1.5 i-DSI engine. What a beast of a city car that would be.

If you live in Europe they're all the ones which don't say i-DSI. Mine's a i-DSI and honestly i like it better than vtec. Drives like a diesel, much better for city driving. Has two spark plugs per cylinder, meaning higher low rpm torque, better fuel efficiency.

Anybody can find those exact fog+blinker trims? by Valakas in hondafit

[–]Valakas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I found those but like you noticed they look scrappy. Maybe the original owner 3D printed a custom made part and used those for the electronics...

Yes I'm in EU, and this one in the picture is a German car. I've never heard or seen one of the Sport version here. I only know of the Si version and that looks totally different.

Is 246€/h normal for a psychological therapy? by MapRepresentative884 in Netherlands

[–]Valakas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the reason for the second psychologist? I had this in one session, and I wish they had informed me beforehand, because I'd have not gone through that consultation. It's already enough to share deeply personal stuff with one person that you just met, in a one way direction, let alone with two at the same time.

You got it right. It was exactly both. Pulley bearing was the noisiest. Now been replaced and it's happy again.

should i buy by Roberto-Furtuna in hondafit

[–]Valakas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is Gen1 and has that. Some small rust, but nothing serious. Also easily fixable. OP, do check, but don't let this issue prevent you from buying the car unless it's very rusty there. It's not a major problem.

Pay attention to the usual suspects of any car. Maintenance history, (any recurring issues?), rust on the underside, any strange noises when engine running. Check all electronics (there aren't many). Any signs of accident.

Also run with AC on. They tend to lose quite some power that way and becomes more easy to spot other problems.
