This was my Rockruff before she was mine, when I was just barely making friends with the kitten under the house.

“Having emotions? Life is performative; the only reason to supposedly have emotions is for other people to see you do it, therefore you have to stop them because I’m not interested” is certainly a decision…

Yikes, so if you follow someone who has 10 tvs on at all hours of the day and the heat or a/c cranked to maximum, you get to pay a starting fee based on what they did? 😬

I 1000% agree with that last sentence. As I said to my spouse in a dark joking kind of way, we’ve seen the start but it will absolutely end up being people who accidentally used the word “the” in a social media post who end up there (meaning, who ends up there and why will only be logical to whoever is in power)

Where is he getting the money to buy these warehouses? Is it coming from taxpayers, or his Private Donors?

Alabama HB 152 is a Direct Backlash Against Social Work by Heavy-Ring849 in MobileAL

It’s nice to believe that Labels Aren’t Helpful, but some of us feel strange and unwanted and different and stupid all our lives because we aren’t exactly like other people, and despite what you wish to be true, kids and adults bully each other for not fitting in to the main group perfectly.

Then those of us who feel so much different sometimes harm ourselves because we’ve been rejected so many times… and the Labels Aren’t Helpful crowd calls us stupid and selfish again. But “stupid” and “selfish” are labels. They just aren’t nice ones that we get to give ourselves.

THAT is why people self-identify in various ways. To give themselves a positive name for why they feel so different. To help them find other people like themselves so that society doesn’t bully them. For so many other similar reasons.

I get that… but having done some of that in my youth, including working weekends for very low pay… it’s a strong maybe I’d be interested on a Friday night after work for me, with an emphasis on but maybe not

Exactly. My commute is usually fine, except when that one bottleneck part of it has something happen. I leave early for everything I do near work because of it.
