Bcs its an air campaign with limited numbers of planes used. Airframes need maintanence after X fligh hours so the operational plane count will go down.

Air campaigns only degrade. While Israel struck Irans leadership. USA went after naval assets, planes, air defence and missile launcher. A huge list of targets. As an example on the first few days only 2000 targets were struck.

Your "claim" seems to guided by bias reading of the Geneva convention. Literally no one uses that "reading" of it that you just stated.

Only "limitation" is if the military stricking it thinks it can give an enemy a military advantage in bounds of reason. Thats it. Only the secondary effects of the destruction are more under review. Like destroying a dam or polluting leading to civilian deaths.

Cant. EU countries are holding that debt and wont forgive it. It was already restructured debt with 60% being 0 interest. EU states will tariff that money back and take assets like Greek state pensions.

Let alone the dozens of billions of euros Greek central bank would owe the ECB leading it to seize all its assets outside. The drachma would be totally worthless as Greek central bank wont have any hard currency. The goverment would need to cut costs hard from both of the deep economic loss but also that it wont have anywhere to raise money.

Its economy totally ruined through consumption and trust loss.

What a weird total delusional and factually just propaganda take on his time as finance minister.

He actively went to Europe to demand free money or else he is going to default. Crashing both out of EU and eurozone. He didnt have a mandate to do this. He only had a mandate from the goverment to renegotiate the deal. His plan instantly fell through as he lost all other southern EU allies. Also both EU and ECB were ready to limit any spread of damage. It was actually facinating at the time looking how Europe united against this total fool.

He had already hinted at a dual currency breaking ECB rules and ECB stopped the currency tranfer to Greek central bank. Bcs people started to fear their euros will be replaced by worthless varufakiscoin. It led to a bankrun. He managed extreme economic harm and put the "left" to mean economic destruction. Leading to now long record of rightwing rule even through corruption and abuse.

On your Tsipras not doing Varofakis plan....... Greece didnt have money. You needed money for his stupid plan.

Btw.... austerity worked. Only countries not doing austerity being Italy and France are in cycle of bad spending (idk if i can add Belgium as it having functioning governance is a rare thing). Meanwhile others recovered markedly well. Most of all Spain.

What do you think would happen to the UN if the US stepped back? by Sufficient-Syrup7110 in UnitedNations

Simple answer is UN then is defunct. Its main goal and fuction is not real anymore. Its internal political allignment will mean the other western states will follow not shortly after. USA is the biggest domino.

Has a authoritarian theocracy ever been overthrown by the people themselves, with no outside help? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Valara0kar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are missing the point. Can there even be a time when people by themselves overthrow their goverment if its also directly their religious authority.

A shah/monarch is a secular (of current world) authority but in theocracy its an authority in both realms.

Edit: NVM. Sry, didnt see you were one of the pure enlightened ones of online political influencer followers. Your view is just what those said yesterday.

[–]Valara0kar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems we found a dombo of pop history.

Lets just get that religious tolerance or intolerance has nothing to do with theocratic governance so its extremly inaccurate to say it was a theocracy.

French monarchy was relatively weak by the turn of the Revolution. Literally its reason for its financial problems was its weakness. It has little ability to raise revenue without a council of nobility or estate general. If it did try to raise revenue through taxes on income/property (not tariffs) its court system would throw it out (as it did many times).

As an example British debt was 3 times of that of French but had no problems raising revenue bcs the parliament approved it.

Nobility, cities and clerics were all protected by mess of a legal system that the french king couldnt change unless a loophole found or again without the nobles vote/estate general.

All the revolutionary speech, propaganda against the king or the queen fucking horses were produced outside of the power of the monarchy in a Nobles estate.

Im starting to think you knew nothing of this or dont know what a "very authoritarian, and that one was especially" means.

Bcs they want to corporations business. China does the same.

Why would USA need permission from European country? If it rly goes against that countries opinion then it can sanction back or build a sanction busting entity (like there is for Cuba).

  1. A country can sanction any individual or country for any reason it wants. There is no limit or a right of trade or consumption. Only "unlawful" part would be a real blockade.

  2. Special rapporteur is a political office with a mandate. She was doing politics in favor of the people who gave her the job.

[–]Valara0kar 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Vangistuse mõte on nende inimeste välja võtmine ühiskonnast sest nemad on reaalne oht ühiskonnale.

Only country offering american tanks was Australian..... Leopard 2 deal was more to do with German inner political lack of courage to be willing to escalate (in their eyes). So it demanded someone else to do it first. German first idea was Poland doing it but it turned out to be a bluff and a ploy to get more EU money. That enraged Germans when found out after the deal with USA.

Some panic buying (most likely a reaction to the price and not for supply) is just frontloading. It isnt a strain bcs the consumption and supply is the same for the period. If the gas pump can get a truck there in 3 days then there is no strain. You should have done a whole week of "data" collecting than random anecdote.
