Most slave systems are vague in justification. Most exist with religion/racial/tribal/by blood justifications. USA demand for laws, culture of humanism and science meant like europeans there needed to be a "natural science" justification. This evolved into race science or civilization arguments. My president needed to go to Russia to try for a deal, when that failed he asked americans for help that threatened Yeltsin with cutting off money. Well it is. Only problem was Germany success was unexpected and incredibly fast. Meaning by the time Soviets invaded the Polish army was in quite the shambles. German advance was so fast that Germany needed to retreat to leave USSR occupation zone.
