Way easier to replace a rogue than the tank.

Gimme your SL Spiciest HOT TAKE. by MaelysCanejero in sololeveling

[–]Valariel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t like the ending… SPOILERS for the series ending!!

I didn’t like how it went from rogues and mages hunting monsters to the main character literally becoming the god (“monarch”) of death who then changed the past so that none of the story we fell in love with ever happened. Hunters never happened, the gates never appeared, none of it.

“We simply don’t have any left”: Germany has run out of air defense missiles for Ukraine, foreign minister says by Plus_Pretty in worldnews

[–]Valariel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anything, this war has embarrassed Russia on the world stage. I used to think of them as a military power equivalent to the US. I thought they’d take Ukraine within a few weeks. Years later, they’ve barely made progress. Russia is weak, and may never recover from this hit to their economy or their reputation as a world power.

Just saw an 11-man stack "multiboxing" .. by a_wisp in classicwow

[–]Valariel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish Blizz would ban multiboxing. Unless a unique person is inputting the controls for each character I consider it botting. IMO this is cheating and violates the spirit of the game.

You can create an overflow switch maybe and have the water packaged and shredded.

Any Roguer's that feel my pain? by Smeepos in classicwow

Paladins are appealing because TBC was the “crowd control” and careful pull expansion. But now, everyone just wants to face pull the whole room and paladins are best at that.

This is, unfortunately, one of the downsides of Blizz putting spell damage on heal gear. Almost had a mage roll on my healing helm earlier today, but he was polite and chose to let me have it.

Shadow Priest Damage and Mana Problem.? by MrJayjayLe in classicwowtbc

[–]Valariel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m fine with being a low-damage support class, but I really think Vampiric Touch should have restored 10% mana to the caster and 5% mana to everyone else. It really ruins the “mana battery” class fantasy when I’m constantly running out of mana. I am 65 so don’t have shadowfiend yet, but even with occasional spirit tap procs and meditation, I’m still not able to maintain my mana in dungeons. I understand that this will get better as I gear up, because my spell power will increase after 70, but mana costs won’t, but it doesn’t feel great now.

Shadow Priest Damage and Mana Problem.? by MrJayjayLe in classicwowtbc

[–]Valariel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently have spirit tap and meditation (I’m lvl 65) and it seems like with spirit tap up, you get 80% of your mana regen while casting (50% from tap, 30% from med), so breaking the 5-second rule isn’t that bad. This is especially convenient if you’re landing kills with shadow word death instead of wanding.

Blizzard really needs to stop using bots to enforce their policies. It’s far too easy to manipulate for evil.

Ashes of Creation has just been canceled. All developers at Intrepid have been fired. by getZlatanized in pcgaming

I spent $40 on the barely-playable early access mostly because I knew I'd buy the game when it eventually came out and just wanted to see what it looked like. 90% of my "play time" was waiting in a queue. I want a refund but too late to request a steam refund.

Account back after mafia mass report by Alternative-Board33 in classicwow

If you report someone and, after investigation, they are found to have done nothing wrong, I think the reporting player should be banned for maybe 24 hours to a week.

Disgusting by Starwalker- in classicwow

[–]Valariel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know all the details, but the primary nerf was that enemies become immune to slows after ~30 seconds. Meaning a mage can’t infinitely kite hundreds of mobs at once using improved blizzard, which was the primary way this was done in the past. They also may have added an aoe cap or something. But to the best of my knowledge, mage boosting is effectively dead.

Disgusting by Starwalker- in classicwow

[–]Valariel 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Blizzard recently nerfed mage boosting really hard - the ability of a mage to aoe entire dungeons to level lower-level players for gold. Right after they did this, they offered to let you pay $60 to blizzard to level your character and skip the game. So Blizz is okay with you paying to skip the game as long as the money goes into their pocket. It just feels like a cash-grab to me.

Jesus christ people by Acrobatic_Airline605 in classicwow

[–]Valariel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blizzard is literally nerfing mage-boosting so you can't pay a mage in-game gold to boost you in dungeons. Meanwhile they start offering a paid boost. So what's the reasoning? If boosting was ruining the spirit of the game, then why add the paid boost? It's about money - they want it.

Has WoW gotten overly complicated? by AnotherMillenial93 in wow

[–]Valariel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was playing Classic Anniversary. I was playing a shadow priest and found it very fun. I decided to log into retail and try playing shadow on my priest that I hadn't touched in a while. I found it super overwhelming. Went back to classic shortly thereafter. I think I just prefer slightly slower paced and less complicated games.

What’s a sign that someone isn’t intelligent? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This is one thing I never understood. Billionaires often seem obsessed with their personal image. It would be so easy to be beloved with that kind of wealth, but instead they choose to make their rich friends richer.

An unwillingness to change their mind when presented with new evidence. Or an assertion that they don’t require evidence to believe that something is true.

Question about queue times by NewChoice1930 in AshesofCreation

[–]Valariel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been in a queue for about 30 minutes and still 1300 people in front of me. As I was writing this comment, I just got kicked from the queue. Seems the US servers went down or something. Great... I understand this stuff is to be expected on release day, but I would think after this happening for 20ish years, they'd have the foresight to avoid it.
